The journey is ending here. For the oddest reason, a human phrase from story keeps coming to my mind —“Journey’s end in lovers meeting.”

The Matrix resonates with it, and other related things it plucks from the airwaves, like one of Alchemist’s metallurgical prediction engines, or the Quill scribbling in the Covenant.

But who are the lovers?

I can’t answer that.1

(Oh, I see this, and you know I ship this to hell and back, but for some reason it makes me… squint. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because of the connotation the word “lovers” has in this society (or my brain, I donno). If they meant lovers as in two people who compliment each other symbolically and ideologically, and understand each other in a deeper and more substantial way than most others do, thus they have a deep “love” for one another, which might mean they have a need to be physically close to one another then: HELLS TO THE FREAKING YEA. GLORIOUS BEAUTIFUL SHIP OF CANNON. LET US SAIL TO THE END OF THE WORLD. But if they mean lovers as in high-school musical love then imma jump off that bridge. Psst– I do think they (the creators and noblespark) mean the first. I just hope others do not interpret it as the second. I’m an ass.)
