Many OT5 often say they equally support both TVXQ and JYJ, which is not true. They often make some critical mistakes, such as showing delight when JYJ sing TVXQ’s songs before the split while showing the opposite sentiment when TVXQ sing old TVXQ songs.
1. Do you really support them EQUALLY? Then show the SAME feeling about both sides reminiscing old songs. Why the hell is it different??
2. The sentiment bias partially indicates that they think JYJ is more qualified for the songs – why on earth is that?
- Most of old TVXQ songs had been composed and written by creators beloning to, or making specific contracts with, SM Ent. and AVEX Ent.. TVXQ, who have sticked to the contracts between SM and between AVEX ever since 2003, obviously have the right to officially sing and perform those songs on stages and TV shows and so on. Is there anything wrong about this?
- JYJ had already abandoned TVXQ by filing the two lawsuits and the result was termination of the contract with SME, the end date of which was July 31, 2009, according to the agreement between JYJ and SM that took place on November 28, 2012. It’s been 8 YEARS already since the official termination – even longer than the time when TVXQ and JYJ was one(5 yrs). You mighy be right, JYJ may still be able to sing TVXQ’s old songs as the artists THAT ARE NOT TVXQ. You will know the difference if you’re not stupid.
3. Many OT5s insist that JYJ sing the old songs better than TVXQ do, often obtruding the opinion upon others.
Let’s make things straight.
It’s YOUR PREFERENCE, isn’t it?
In fact, in my opinion, to be extreme, compared to duo versions of the songs, the quintet versions sound TERRIBLE and UNBALANCED. I would like the voices when I was a silly OT5, but now I feel that JYJ’s singing voice is ugly and uncomfortable. TVXQ are way better for the songs. They have made great efforts to improve after the split and the result is so satisfying.
See, the preferences are so different.
Keep in mind, the sentence “your taste is right and others are wrong” evidently contain errors. It’s that simple.
“I prefer JYJ’s singing voice to TVXQ’s.”
-> I respect your opinion even though I don’t agree with it.
“Thus TVXQ are not entitled to the songs.”
-> FUCK YOU.
“I personally don’t want to listen to TVXQ singing old songs.”
-> I respect your decision even though it sounds stupid to me.
“Therefore let’s boycott TVXQ’s singles.”
-> GO FUCK YOURSELF IN HELL.
