innerparkerism replied to your post “Holy shit, I’ll be in London in 12 days.”
woooooow really??!!! what are you going to do there? That’s definitely a good start in visiting Europe
we’ll only be there for a few days before we go onto Belgium, France, and Italy so I imagine mostly museums and drinking. I’m going with my dad and grandmother for about three weeks and my dad’s decided to drive the whole thing so that should be interesting.

We experience life as a continuity, and only after it falls away, after it becomes the past, do we see its discontinuities. The past, if there is such a thing, is mostly empty space, great expanses of nothing, in which significant persons and events float.
Teju Cole, from Open City (Random House, 2011)
“Tenderness between people is nothing other than awareness of the possibility of relations without purpose.” — Theodor Adorno, Minima Moralia “How cruel the earth, the willows shimmering, the birches bending and sighing. How cruel, how profoundly tender.” — Louise Glück, from Vita Nova “without tenderness, we are in hell.” — Adrienne Rich, from Twenty-One Love Poems, X

admit it, we’ve all fantasised about slow-dancing in the kitchen barefoot in our pyjamas at 2am in the arms of someone we love while old romantic jazz songs play softly on the radio
