I found myself questioning things. With every swipe, I hoped I was good looking enough for at lease one. I hoped my photographs were showing my best self. Photographs of stillness. Of quiet. We seem to forget the beauty that actually exists. The beauty in being face to face with someone. The beauty in someone's eyes as they light up. The beauty in a face that's slightly blushed from words being spoke. The beauty in emotion behind someone's voice. The beauty in the song of laughter that can fill one's ears. I have to apologize. I haven't written a blog post in so long. In all honestly, life has gotten kind of busy. I've also been trying to slow down when it comes to my social media usage. I also have been focusing on using time to be present with my kids. It's absolutely not a bad thing to be on social media but I think sometimes we forget to stop and look at the things around us. I've also been writing in a journal. It's been such a huge release to get things out that I keep in. It's also been a stepping stone to writing on my blog again.
