My detective Elbet Crawl of the Mercykillers (Ettercap/Ranger)
Reverse ravenloft, characters from a grim nightmare world are good enough to be sucked to the cuddles and smile dimension
Also, through their grimdark training (plus years of compacted trauma), they're the only ones able to perceive the massive, horrifying inequalities in the cuddles and smile dimension.
"Wait, how long has King Sunshine ruled? How long does his species usually have? You... you have a "hug festival" every year, where everyone donates their hugs, because they love him? What the fuck. What the fuck."
"So the Lump-Rock Bugs work in the quarries and mines and sing about it, apparently. Has anyone actually noted the lyrics? The whole 'work all day, work all night, work in the dark, work in the light, work with our hands and our feetses too, there's nothing Lump-Rock Bugs won't do' thing? Has anyone ever... oh, they just love work? They want to do it because that's what they're for? No one ever looked at this critically? No one?"
"So I noticed that No-Fun Nora wasn't at the jelly-jam jamboree last night. Is she okay? Oh shit, really? What's the diagnosis? Wait, hang on, not wanting to be touched is considered a mental disorder here? What's the treatment? Hug therapy?! Where the fuck'd I leave my thieves' tools."
"So, funny story. I woke up today to find just a full-ass dude in my kitchen. Turns out the Dirty Word Detectives can just do that, y'now, let themselves into your house if they suspect you've been saying fuckwords. Also go through your mail. And no one thinks that's weird. So, y'now. Something to think about."
"Did any of you just have any weird dreams? Reminding you the hug festival was coming up? Yeah, so apparently there's a dream wizard who makes sure everyone has good dreams. Also apparently, he receives two chests of golden fairy apples from King Sunshine before every hug festival. And I know his f---ing address."
"So it took me a while to dig up - the librarian kept bursting into song about how 'you've got friends at the library' or something - but the only legal successor to King Sunshine was Princess Marmalade, and she was married off to Prince Starlight about seven years ago. Except I compared the dates and, apparently, she was 13 years old at the time. She stopped sending letters two years ago because she was 'too busy being in love'. Gas up the Teleportation Circle, we can't let this sit."
Nyx Heirloom - Fan Design
Decided to take a crack at designing a Heirloom skin for a Warframe and the dart landed on Nyx. A bit of a challenge, seeing as Nyx is not a Frame I normally play and Eleanor doesn't really do it for me. Still, a challenge is a challenge and a great way to test your chops as a fan and an artist.
Nyx Heirloom's design was inspired by 3 things:
Emma Frost from 'X-Men'
Morgaine LeFay of Arthurian myth
Scarlet Witch from 'The Avengers' (comic version)
The aim was to have things (like details on her suit) aim upwards towards her head, and the glow is inspired by placement on her default skin. Insinuated eyes were recommended by a couple of people, and they help put it together, I think.
This couldn't have come fully together without the input of others in the community and for them and their feedback, I am truly grateful.
My Rogue Modron character Q04RTZ, mad scientist and xaositect wizard, obsessed with a strange "spark" he found in Limbo.
Zaraga the annis hag dines on live imps in her lair atop the Screaming Tower (Tony DiTerlizzi from “Umbra” by Chris Perkins, an AD&D Planescape adventure set in Sigil, Dungeon magazine 55, Sept/Oct 1995)
Along with rebels of the Sha'sal Khou and githzeraï monks, Qezra and Izaark ended up deep in Limbo, where they met a powerful slaad who started to feed on githzeraï's souls in order to ascend. They owe their survival to the unexpected intervention of Ygorl, lord of entropy, who didn't like one of his kind breaking an antique pact with the People.

Red Sands
It is my belief that the Inner Planes were designed to describe smoking a bong:
Air - fills bong pre-hit
Earth - weed (bud)
Fire - flame from lighter
Water - inside bong
Ice - glass/water temperature
Magma - weed (while smoldering)
Ooze - resin/bong gunk
Smoke - exhaled post-hit
Lightning - ingiting spark
Mineral - lighter
Radiance - light of flame
Steam - fills bong as hitting
Ash - weed (post ignition)
Dust - weed (residue after clearing bowl)
Salt - used to clean
Vacuum - the act of inhaling
Yed Guru's quest led him to an old Bleaker afraid of the flood who started the construction of a boat in the Hive.
A Beautiful Death - my design of a LICH that appears in the story I’m working on
My planescape character Yed Guru (warrior/orc)
Factotum of the Bleak Cabal, in charge of the Gatehouse's security. Former soldier in the Gruumsh armies on Nishrek (Acheron), now a true (grumpy) pacifist.
Deep in the Underdark in the Sunless Sea, the Isle of Shadows is a bleak ruin shrouded in perpetual cold and fog, radiating a palpable aura of evil. Even the aboleth avoid this place. Varandek, Priest-Servitor of the Dark God, oversees a conclave of shadows, spectres, and skeletal priests. (Art credited to Arnie Swekel and Glen Michael Angus for Night Below: An Underdark Campaign, Book III: The Sunless Sea, designed by Carl Sargent, TSR, 1995)
Tony DiTerlizzi-The Gate-Town of Hopeless
Mimir.net went from being one of the most pleasantly designed and aesthetically pleasing old-school geocities type websites, to a bland modern-style abomination FULL of genAI garbage and I'm so sad about it.
30 years of work preserving and expounding upon the Planescape setting, only to just abandon the legendary art of it for complete soulless slop. Rest in peace
