[He goes to sit down beside her.] Eridan: i do not blame you for thinkin that Eridan: i miss everybody on that meteor Eridan: even if we weren't exactly close Eridan: they were still somebody there at least Eridan: i keep wondering how they are doing in the dream bubbles... [Or how some might be in a new universe that he could never reach.]

NEPETA: I didn’t get to find out what happened to everyone else, either.

NEPETA: I didn’t even get to say goodbye.

NEPETA: . . . do you already know how I died?

Eridan: I can sort of guess based on my last memory of...him. [Gamzee. Eridan recalled the last moment that he had seen Gamzee wearing her hat and Equius' glasses.] Eridan: I was already deep in my own shit that it didn't immediately click right away. Eridan: But looking back now, I can assume what happened. Eridan: If we were still on Alternia, he would not be seen as monstrous for what he did. Eridan: After all, he is a highblood. Eridan: However, you and him did not deserve that kind of fate. [He shakes his head.]

NEPETA: I was sneaking through the vents, like earlier.

NEPETA: I saw him choking Equius out with his own bowstring.

NEPETA: Even though Equius and I just fought, I had to save him.

NEPETA: In my rage, I didn’t think twice about my own safety. . .

[She rubs her head, between her horns.]

NEPETA: He saw it coming, though. Caught my claw, slashed himself across the face. . .

NEPETA: for some reason

NEPETA: and then he bashed my head in.

NEPETA: He broke my wrist at some point, but I don’t remember when.

[Sighing, Nepeta looks over at Eridan.]

NEPETA: I didn’t know he took my hat, though. That’s probably why it didn’t end up here with me. . .

Eridan: I can't blame you for wanting to save your moirail. Eridan: You two are seriously close that I'm so envious. [He regretted taking Feferi's morailigence for granted.] Eridan: He probably took it and wore it as a trophy. Showing off those he had killed to tell others he's hot shit. Eridan: It's fucked up. [Eridan clicks his tongue in frustration.] Eridan: I don't know if my wwand would even phase that bastard. Eridan: Let alone if I could have kept my distance long enough to take him down like that. [Despite that highblood land dwellers and sea dwellers were suppose to be at odds, Gamzee was a bit lax when speaking with Eridan. Not enough to accept his advances, but chill that he doesn't seem to hold the same disdain like others had. The violetblood wasn't sure what to make of him being like this since he acted this way around everybody. Being Karkat's closest friend too, there was no reason to fully hate the guy. The mutual shared interest in drinking Faygo was another. But that soda was just okay and he only drank it when feeling down. He's not a constant drinker like Gamzee was.]

NEPETA: Though, since you’re here. . .

NEPETA: . . .and we both have the same neck scars. . .

NEPETA: Did you also. . . ?

[He pulls down his blue scarf to reveal the scar around his neck. It looked liked someone had ripped it off.] Eridan: This wasn't what killed me. It was something else. And it was deserved after what I did. [His hand moves unconsciously to where his torso and waistline were.] Eridan: The upper one is likely postmortem. Eridan: Best I could do is hide it with what I'm wearing. Eridan: It doesn't stop people from asking if they do see it. Especially in gym class. I just say to them that I had an accident and move on.

NEPETA: I won’t pry, then.

NEPETA: I wonder if any of them are in this world, too.

[Eridan shrugs his shoulders.] Eridan: There might be a chance that Equius and Fef are here since they both had died and were in Dream Bubbles. Eridan: Besides Vriska, I can't think of other means or reason for others like Kar, Rezi, Kan, or even freaking Gam, to travel to other worlds. Eridan: If there are alternate versions of them living in this world, like our friends that just happen to be born with magic, it's hard to tell and finding them would be difficult. [Even if there was some crazy happenstance that had the other trolls appear in Twisted Wonderland like how Vriska was able to get here, Eridan wasn't sure how he would face them. What would he say? Could even he say anything before Kanaya goes to kill him again?]

NEPETA: If Equius is here somehow, I want to apologize to him.

NEPETA: Something tells me he’d be great in RSA, haha!

NEPETA: I can’t really imagine him going here. . .

NEPETA: It’s hard to imagine myself going here sometimes!

NEPETA: And certainly not Feferi, either.

NEPETA: Maybe I should head to RSA sometime.

Eridan: We also got people like Kali, Silv, and Ort here. Maybe not through proper means on the former, but hey. They're here. [He shrugs his shoulders.] Eridan: He'd definitely fit in RSA. Eridan: Though I wonder how much magic is in that uniform to stop itself from getting wet and smelly from his constant sweat. [He snorts at the thought.] Eridan: How and when would you like to visit there? Eridan: The times this school interacts with the other is through sports events like basketball games or Magishift. Eridan: RSA is also way further south from here. Eridan: Any methods of you are going there? Eridan: Hearing that school is close to a beach, I could just jump off a cliff here and swim. Eridan: Not that I would unless I hear the beach is unclean and it's their fault. Eridan: ...And I also promised Ace and Deuce not to jump off high places even with my highblood endurance.

[Rook promised, his eyes sparkling with intrigue as he did the shoosh pap for eridan]

[As soon as Rook started to stroke Eridan's cheek, all the tension in his body suddenly loosen and he feels so relaxed. His unease turns to a calm look as streaks of violet ran across his face. Fins droop down and smiles dreamily.] Eridan: rrrrrrrrr.... [Wait, is he is purring too?] Grim: Ha ha ha! I love it when this happens! He looks so ridiculous!

[Rook found this extremely interesting and he couldn't help but laugh just a little bit, perhaps ruining the moment]

Oh my, so you purr as well? Interesting. I'll have to note that down.

[He hummed, still stroking Eridan's cheek]

Eridan: fu..... Eridan: mmmrnghhhhh.... [The troll tries to raise his hand to protest, but drops down in less than a few seconds as Rook continues to caress his cheek. He could hardly raise his voice, becoming mostly mumbles or soft hums.]

[Rook laughed again, taking his hand away but continued propping Eridan up so he didn't stumble]

[The slight purrs then start to begin sound like chirping, something akin to bugs.] Grim: I'm kind of impressed he make sounds like that for a fish. I thought fish can't make noises.

Non, fish can make sounds actually, through vibrations. Though this is more entertaining than I would've thought.

[Rook noted, patting Eridan on the head]

Grim: Really, huh. [Eridan continues to chirp from being patted on the head. His fins fluttered in joy from the touch.]
