Though signing up for such missions wasn’t her cup of tea, a  hopefully, relaxing time would be truly appreciated and what better than a Ryokan. The mission was simple, just to pretend being a couple, do couple things, speak to each other as one, to summarize, be a couple for a pair of weeks.

Although the only fact of having to share a room already made her nervous, she wouldn’t mind if it was with someone else but it was Senju Tobirama, and she couldn’t help to feel in such a way.

“Sure, I don’t mind.” But that wasn’t the main problem. “The waitress will come each morning to serve us breakfast, it would be awkward if she sees a couple sleeping in different places but we can always say we had an argument.” A small, but terribly bad, joke to break the ice.   Ren walked in the room just to see the many little details of it, the tatami was certainly wonderful, and the ink paintings beautiful but something caught her attention, a yukata. “I suppose there are for the Onsen? My brothers also have these, you see, though they are constantly using them even when they’re not going to take a bath.”

"I don't think that will be a problem." He replied in a calm manner. "I always wake with dawn. I will simply remove traces of having slept in the couch. And when it's your turn, I'll wake you up." Tobirama spoke, almost done with arranging his clothes so when he was done, the male moved to watch the yukata.

"Possibly." He's not one to come to places such as Onsens that much but they were not exactly unpleasant either. "Do you wish to see the facilities? We should get used to the territory around here, and know where everything is located." The Senju brother suggested, so far finding the room to his liking for what he had seen.

"I suppose they will be serving lunch soon." The two had arrived earlier than anticipated but it was good, for they wouldn't have to wait much for something to eat.

"Some candy" Come on Uncle Tobirama she knows you have a sweetie stash

Giving her candy wasn't such a good idea but when she came to him like that, with her hands stretched out and her big, honey eyes. It was simply hard to resist, even for Tobirama. "Fine. But just two caramels." He warns while reaching out to grab some of the candy and give it to the little Tsunade.

It had come to the knowledge of the Senju clan that the Uchiha were planning to gain some closer advantage to them by utilizing a civilian establishment as a cover for a base hideout. Being shinobi, it would be easy to threaten the unsuspecting small folk into killing their children if they ever let anyone know of their presence and purpose in their place.

For this mission, Tobirama was not alone. Their allies of the Chiba clan were participating too or better said, one was participating: Ren Chiba. The woman was interesting to say the least, for the second Senju brother. Not that he would admit such thought out loud. But he knew she was a capable kunoichi and did not mind at all going on this mission with her. What he did find somewhat uncomfortable is that they were to act out as a couple who were going to stay in the Ryokan where the Uchiha clan's incognito operation was taking place.

Before long, everything was planned out and the two were arriving to said establishment, registering to stay for two weeks. It was an amount of time that should be enough to discover what is happening. Being a couple of course, they were going to share a room. The two were guided to the room by one of the keepers and then were left to settle in. The Senju began to unpack his belongings and arranging them in the room, looking towards the woman.

"There is a couch comfortable enough. I can sleep in it and you can have the bed tonight but we will take turns, just to be fair."

“I’m doing fine, do not worry about me.” Umeshu and she were old friends so it didn’t really cause any kind of hangover or whatsoever.“Just look for yourself, as far as I can tell you’re not really used to drink, are you?”

“I could make you a tea if you wish; it’ll help you to recover quickly.”

He almost glares at the woman. "I've had my fair share of drinking." But it did not mean he was a fan of alcohol unlike his brother. He simply failed to see the advantage of being overcome by said substance that numbs your senses, and only weakens judgement.

"Tea would be nice. But not with much sugar."

"I wouldn't precisely take that as a compliment for some unknown reason. But I know your intention is good, so I suppose a 'thank you' is in order?"

"I’m afraid that I’m not quite able to recall much more."

And she wasn’t in fact. This meant that she probably drank a lot more Umeshu than the normal ‘quota’ and it was weird, her body was ready to stand a lot of alcohol.

"However, as long as you feel alright now it’s all good."

That wasn't convenient but he trusts that nothing too compromising happened last night.

"I feel acceptable now. My brother has dragged me to his drinking sessions more than I'd like to admit." Tobirama confessed. "How are you feeling now?"
