saw this post forever ago and it's stuck in my head because yeah the thunderbolts have kinda the funniest concept ever.

here is bob. bob has the power of a thousand suns. good news! he is a genuinely good person who wants to do good. bad news! if he gets too depressed he might accidentally send everyone to the torture nexis(tm). good news! he has found a group of people who love him and are able to help him. bad news! they are the world's most emotionally constipated assholes!

unfortunately for everyone else they are mr. nuke's emotional support people. they cannot be separated!

desperately need scenes of them from an outsider's pov in doomsday or a future thing like that's so funny to me bro. because (if I'm remembering this correctly) only the tbs + val/mel even know that bob's the sentry/void. as far as everyone else knows, there's just some guy with the new avengers. some perfectly average guy. probably the personality hire.

but once everyone else find out? oh hi yea, welcome to new york. btw one of the most powerful beings on earth lives here. he washes the dishes and reads self-help books, and his stability rests on five guys who can barely take care of themselves. unfortunately this is the only solution we got.

Realistically, I know that i should actually save some stuff for publishing the fic itself, but I'm frankly having too much fun writing the cooking sections haha. So I swear this will (maybe) be the last one. It's so therapeutic to write! I'm home for the summer from college, and cooking feels a lot less like "survival mode" and more like something actually fun :) Some short bits below the line!

Thank you so much to everyone whose shown in interest in the boblena drabble I was working on 🙏. I wanted it out this weekend, but it ended up growing legs on its own (currently at 5k words, which is A LOT for me) so I'm gonna aim to finish it this week and get up it on ao3 by saturday!

It's become more of a thing about all thunderbolts and their dynamics with Bob, through the lens of him taking up cooking and baking in the Tower, but I promise there's still a big Boblena focus :)
