important announcement!

so a lot of you ( like 95% of my followers ) are aware i’m also the mun for @rangeriiisms && @bridgc . as much as i love tommy having his own blog ( mostly it’s sentimental because he was my first pr muse && blog ) i’ve decided to add him onto my multi-muse blog – as well as bringing bridge over onto it as well. i’ve been neglecting him && most of my muses on rangeriiisms in favor of being over here on tommy.

so i will be making a new blog. it’ll be under the same handle of rangeriiisms but it’ll no longer be a sideblog. this one, my current rangeriiisms sideblog, && bridgc will be archived, of course. i’ll make a promo post just in case i miss someone when i follow you all on my new blog!

tommy knew that eventually merrick would have to leave, the man had responsibilities of his own. but saying goodbye to merrick hadn’t been easy. tommy had gotten used to the other’s presence && he’s not sure how he’ll handle being away from him.

it’s why he keeps an eye on merrick, keeps tabs on him because tommy can’t help but worry – worry that somehow it’ll be found out tommy is actually alive, that tommy && merrick are so close to each other, that merrick will be hurt to get to the ranger. what he isn’t expecting is merrick to run into his own trouble, unrelated to tommy on a whole.

there’s a shower of white static && a hand catches the fist that’s aimed at merrick, yanking it back with a dangerously calm sort of air. “—- i wouldn’t do that again if you value having a working hand.”

Brighton was one of Merrick’s worst exes to date. He had encouraged the man’s alcoholism, emotionally manipulated him, had literally beat him senseless multiple times. The only thing that had snapped Merrick to his senses was the day that Brighton had threatened his son. He’d been out of his life for a while, but suddenly he was back, claiming that Merrick owed him money.

He lifted his fist to strike and Merrick flinched back out of habit, lifting his arms to block when suddenly a familiar voice filled his ears. He slowly lowered his arms, green eyes huge and staring at Tommy. Brighton was aghast, unsure of how to react to this development.

“Tommy?” Merrick slowly edged towards the Ranger, but before he could do anything, Brighton had jerked his arm back. Then, stupidily, decided to call Merrick a ‘stupid whore’ and ‘worthless piece of shit father’ which caused him to flinch back again.

tommy lets out a noise like a soft laugh, but there's something dangerous about the sound as he watches brighton rather calmly. stepping in closer, the war-torn ranger settles a hard, calculating gaze on the other man as he gives a smile that should be full of sharp teeth it's so wicked. he doesn't say anything, he's completely quiet for a moment before an arm snaps out with lightning-quick reflexes ---- a well-aimed punch delivered to brighton's face. tommy maneuvers himself between merrick and the man, pulling himself to his full height as he squares his shoulders. "strike two. i'd think carefully about what you do next. merrick doesn't owe you shit. leave him alone, or i'll make you leave him alone."
