       Rex let out a growl as he pulled the Beta close and nuzzled against her neck. “I’d like to greet you in other ways as well but they’re not be appropriate for public.” He whispered against her skin, a smirk on his lips.

You open your mouth, only to suffocate beneath the weight of words you cannot say. “I know no other hero.” You press gentle kisses into nape of his neck, your skin nearly ash. You love him, and it hurts.
