ok but honestly i’m really peeved that carl again seems to be getting shafted by the writers. and this isn’t the first time this has happened. when he killed his mom in season three he was hardly seen, and really barely was given room to develop about it. we should’ve seen carl dealing with it instead of only rick. but we got like clear where he wants a picture and him just being salty towards his dad. are you kidding me. then we have 4x16 where he is fucking assaulted and we were PROMISED that they wouldn’t just glance over it, but they DID. i don’t count that one conversation with Michonne actual acknowledgement because that was more about what his dad was doing than what happened TO HIM. then he GETS SHOT, again, and once again, where the hell is he. i mean really. we just got one line with him saying ‘i got a messed up face lol bye’ and im honestly SICK OF THIS. chandler is fucking amazing, he was amazing this WHOLE SEASON when he wasn’t carrying around a fucking infant and being pushed off to the side because...well, we got better things to do. ?????? there is so much potential here, and i remember Chandler saying something about how his best work is in the last few episodes of this season. unless he was talking about episode 9, which he killed, you know, when he wasn’t---idk getting shot lol, i don’t even know what to think. i just want this character given the limelight FOR ONCE, by HIMSELF, for a significant amount of time. i mean not to mention how ALL OF ALEXANDRIA basically was inspired by him through his dad to actually fight for the damn place. but yeah carl, you stay home, and watch the fucking baby.

wasn’t a fan of this episode. obvious filler. obvious painful filler. almost worth sitting through it to see maggie go apeshit, and just maggie in general. seems like the whole thing was just set up for carol’s benefit honestly. what a joke. this close to the finale and you’re telling me we get such a droll episode? what, couldn’t they have shown Alexandria’s side, Carl and Enid and Eugene and Tobin??? and everyone else??? How about the group coming home thinking they took care of it, which is exactly what happened in this episode. It just...underwhelmed me. WHERE IS CARL’S DEVELOPMENT. THE KID JUST HAD A TRAUMATIC INJURY THAT HAS CHANGED HIS ENTIRE MINDSET/OUTLOOK AND WE ARE SEEING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. WHERE IS ENID, WHERE IS THE GODDAMN SYMMETRY.
the fact that this episode really didn’t do anything other than parade around Maggie and Carol going beast mode ( which is debatable for Carol since she can’t fucking handle anything any more, and this isn’t a snide comment I mean, she wanted to protect Maggie, but I’m pissed the fuck off at her for first of all losing her shit, and then ratting out the fact that Maggie was pregnant. Like???? who gave you the right. ) I mean it could’ve been done in half the time and twice as well. Honestly if this serves anything it’s to say Carol’s just about done, and I think she’s going to die next season.

First off, I’d like to welcome you, friend. Thank you for voicing your opinion, I accept it, and honestly it’s a grind to get acknowledged. It’s a grind to get yourself off the ground, and you have to have the right equipment to even be taken seriously. *i have noticed that this isn’t really the case, any more that more un-aesthetic blogs are being accepted and that’s absolutely fantastic, I’m all for it!!! just do you, and approach people, be friendly, be kind, and people will pay attention. it doesn’t even need to be IC, I got to where I am because I sent stupid, silly ic/ooc asks to everyone. You have to engage EVERYONE all the time, and sometimes that’s hard. But if you’re genuine, you will find a place for yourself. Listen, let me be clear. This site is welcoming, and it has a lot of really nice people on it. I’m not going to trash us all because we’re all different, and we have our reasons. I remember starting and being welcomed immediately. Now am I going to act like my experience is the norm? No. Judging by the current...state of things, I’d judge that it’s not, and that’s not okay, in my opinion. Now, people have their reasons for being the way they are. Having partners, friends, it’s a way of life. It is more selective because of personal reasons, people don’t like to get overwhelmed and thus set boundaries for themselves. And honestly, it’s hard to get yourself looked at beyond those boundaries. I myself haven’t really ignored anyone that has really set out to write with me, nor do I set myself walls so I am blind to new people. New people keep these communities ALIVE. It’s important to embrace EACH wave of new blogs, whether they’re your friend or not, whether there’s two-hundred or two of that character. It keeps things FRESH and new people are always welcome here personally. I’ve said it before, this community has changed, and while I did word my initial ask concerning this rather negatively I’m standing by it. And honestly, I’m tired of acting like there’s not a problem. I’m so sorry you’ve been ignored, that so many people are being ignored. People have this way of covering it up, acting like there’s nothing wrong. And this fandom is good at it. We have such a face of perfection, of acceptance and niceness, when I myself have been around long enough to see the nasty shades of nearly every kind. ( but of course, I better not use the time i’ve been here as a reason because no one cares about it, and it just seeks to put people down... ok lol )
It happens, and it doesn’t mean we’re all bad, nor that these people seek to lump everyone in the same boat, what I’m afraid of now is people like yourself further becoming outcast, further being silenced because of their experiences, and because of their opinions. If I learned anything from “as a veteran” gate 2k16 is that there is this intolerance for dissent. That many people here won’t listen to MULTIPLE people calling out a significant problem. But of course it’s called negative because someone basically said ‘there’s a problem, we just gotta fix it’ I mean my goodness how must that person feel now? I can’t imagine it, but they’re secretly the laughing stock of the entire fandom. I myself have been away, and my eyes have been opened, for lack of a better term, to this behavior. I won’t be closed off from it anymore, and honestly it’s turned me off from this community, this hobby and that’s just a shame for me. I love this place, I love writing, I love making friends and making people laugh. It’s one of my GREAT JOYS to make people here smile. I’m working on a new set up for myself, a new start ( lol archive #3 comin @ u ) and when that’s set up you’re more than welcome to approach me off anon and we can definitely write together.
