Dragoon sighed in relief and nodded vigorously, glad that Tyson understood. He blinked at Tysons odd reaction- why on earth would Tyson be shy around him? Perhaps it was something that he himself was doing unconsciously to provoke such a thing- Draciel often had the same reaction in Dragoons presence.
Dragoon held out an arm, bent slightly at the elbow, fingers spread wide. He narrowed his eyes in concentration, then snapped his palm forward, arm straightening fully. A massive gust of wind swept around them, transforming into two strangely small hurricanes that enveloped them both. They both lifted into the air and hovered gently, held in the calm eye of the contained storms. Dragoon kept them aloft for a moment, then banished the wind, dissipating it slowly so they floated carefully back onto solid ground.
Tyson snickered quietly at the confusion on Dragoons face. It was oddly cute to see such a bemused expression on a being that looked so regal and was so powerful. He cocked his head to the side as he intently watched Dragoon concentrate, and was completely taken off-guard when he suddenly found himself no longer standing on earth.
"Wh-Whoooaa!" he flailed a little in alarm for a moment, but calmed down when he realized Dragoon was doing the same thing, and imitated the same stance, settling comfortably into the tornado’s eye. It was cool and strangely still considering he was in the middle of a twister, but very breezy nontheless. Tysons hair and clothes whipped around in the currents, but never seemed to get in his way or impede his sight or movements. Tyson was breathless with excitement when they touched back down. The only other time he had ‘flown’ was in Brooklyns dystopian mind-dimension. This was in real time, and in his own home! “Dragoon, buddy, you are amazing." he declared in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.
Dragoon merely shrugged lightly, keeping his eyes lowered demurely. He knew he was powerful, there was no point in being modest about that. After all, he had to be fully aware of his strength if he was utilize it properly, but it still made him feel slightly awkward when others exalted him like that. Over time he had realized it was easier to just graciously accept such compliments rather than deny or ward them off but he still found the situation difficult to handle delicately without seeming arrogant.
To diffuse the situation, Dragoon drew his sword smoothly, and handed it hilt-first to Tyson. “Reciprocate." he instructed with a grin. He wanted to see how much Tyson had improved as a swordsman.
"Seriously man, you are!" Tyson insisted. "I wouldn't be half the blader i am today without you, even if i had another Bitbeast! Uh, just don't repeat that to anyone, ok? I have a reputation to uphold!" he laughed. "Well, both of us, actually. If i'm the Champion of bladers, you're pretty much the Champion in the Spirit World, right?"
"Oh...oh wow," Tyson murmured, taking the sword reverently. Even a half-assed samurai like Tyson could tell what an impressive sword this was. Perfectly balanced, sharper than a razor blade and a hilt that seemed to accommodate his grip instantly. Usually Tyson hated using any sword other than his own, but this felt comfortable and familiar to his touch. "It feels...awesome. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this is somehow connected through our bond, too?" he asked, eyebrow quirked.
