Skirt-buyers of frumblr, I need your help as personal shoppers, because I just do not have any time or energy right now to do this kind of searching, because hospice arrangements and figuring out funeral arrangements so everything can happen without delays and hospital stuff and phone calls...
I need your help to find a skirt for someone to wear for a funeral and then for shiva.
This person is 5'5" and needs a skirt that is at least mid-calf, preferably ankle.
The skirt needs to be black or navy blue or, like, at least a dark neutral, especially if there are patterns on it. Patterns are actually fine, but not, you know, fun stylish happy patterns.
The skirt has to be cotton or linen or cotlin.
It must not be fitted or tight. It must be easy to walk in, and sit on a shiva chair.
No slits in the skirt
The skirt must have pockets, that are larger enough for a cell phone, even while sitting down. It would be amazing if those pockets had zippers but we're not expecting a miracle, we know those don't exist. But if they did exist, it would be a wonderful thing.
The skirt must fit a 42" waist.
The skirt has to be washable, not dry-clean.

Absolutely ridiculous that getting a shirt for kriyah, and the undershirt necessary for tznius, is as easy as going to costco, but a skirt... oy.
