Not all of them. Actually, I only read it fairly recently, it was more of a coincidence😅
But since I really liked it, it'll probably influence me a little, mainly because I like the trope of Levi being Mikasa's guardian.
Although I draw my fan art imagining that EMA are babies/kids in the 2000s and teenagers/young adults in the present day
The thing about Zeke is that he's a people pleaser and people could generally sense that which is why he never got Grisha's respect.
I think that in a modern AU, Grisha was mostly just an emotionally absent father when Zeke was little. He was physically there, but he didn't pay much attention to his son beyond telling him to do well in school. So Zeke thought that if he became the best, his dad would spend more time with him (spoiler: he didn't).
In canon, Grisha had Zeke when he was 19, so I guess, among other things, he just wasn't mature enough to be a father yet, unlike when Eren was born.
And Baby Eren was probably born at the worst possible time for his older brother because, from Zeke's pov, he proved that their father could be a good dad, he just didn't want to be one for him, which hurt him even more.
We went from whole ackerman moments to depressing jaeger moments 😭

it just made total sense to me!! when people usually hear that name, they think of "erin" which is commonly a girl's name. an easy mistake i would say 😋
