I didn't think I'd see anyone openly cheering for Spain who isn't Spanish. I feel like I couldn't root for them cause a win only gives the federation and Vilda more leverage. Like I want the best for the players and I don't feel like that's gonna come from a win (it's bad enough already that they've gotten this far)

It's honestly tough to know what's best. I want the best for the players and now they've found themselves in this spot I'll have to root for them and hope that by winning they'll have more of a voice or public backing to help get rid of Vilda.

They've had a very successful tournament to make it to the final. I think because of that, even if they lose today, Vilda will be seen as having been successful on field coach by the federation. If they didn't make it out of the group or something it would be a different argument.

So basically I think winning today will help the players more than losing would hurt Vilda. Hope that makes sense.

Also I'm decidedly not an England fan, even if I like several players.
