🐯 [Outside of Kaien's dorm room there's a box! It's wrapped with plain white wrapping paper and a golden bow! Inside are various expensive treats alongside a cute little tiger plushie that has an extra angry expression...]

[Kaien is quick to bring the box inside, worried about prying eyes. Once in the safety of his room, he opens the box. Instantly, he's struck breathless. He's never had such fancy treats, and the tiger... He's sure of who gave this to him.
With a small smile, he brings the soft, angry thing to his cheek, and nuzzles it silently. He tears up, just a little.
This is the first time he's received such a thoughtful gift since his father passed. He's so happy.]
