A fox print, with native wild licorice that grows in the Suisun area, the stems of licorice are homage to the little tributaries of the estuary marsh they grow in. Mt. Diablo in the back and of course two valley oaks, Quercus lobata

FRANZ
Original: “Zwei schöne schwedische Jungen mit langen Beinen, die so geformt und gespannt sind, dass man mit der Zunge richtig an ihnen hinfahren könnte.”
In the first edition of Kafka’s diaries, this line was censored by Max Brod, who changed it to “Zwei schöne schwedische Jungen mit langen Beinen” (two handsome Swedish boys with long legs).
