Hi I just saw this mars when they don’t check the ask box

Tbh I have a lot of thoughts on it but contrary to popular belief I actually liked the end! If I’m honest, especially with how I saw people here on tumblr reacting, I think people had expectations too high. Unfortunately with everything happening and the season needing to be crammed into a 90 min episode, it was never going to be season one or two. There were a lot of plot holes and things I was confused on but I enjoyed it 👍🏽👍🏽

I will also say I enjoyed it a lot more… not being in the fandom, lol. I sort of stopped interacting with the fandom after all the NG shit and because I got super hyperfixated on HSR, and I liked being able to enjoy the episode on my own without the fandom whispering down my ear that it was garbage. I went on tumblr to see what everyone else thought and it was just a cesspool of negativity, people being mad at each other, etc, and I immediately felt weird and wrong having liked it. Especially seeing that it’s probably not one I’ll draw/interact with a ton (esp since my hsr and gachiakuta stuff has kinda become a staple here now) but I hold it dear to my heart <3
