honestly some of y’all want a significant other so badly and can’t understand why you can’t find one, but have no sense of boundaries or healthy expectations of what a relationship is like. in a committed long-term partnership you get left on read, you wait for texts back, and you can forget about each other when you’re busy. sometimes you fall asleep without saying goodnight and sometimes you’re too caught up to text each other before 6pm. that’s how it is. thinking that you can’t be deeply, beautifully in love and still wait more than “1.75 hours” for a text back is such an unhealthy and unreasonable expectation of what love is, and you shouldn’t be in a relationship if you can’t allow the other person to exist on their own apart from you. if you’re projecting your anxieties and insecurities onto a partner who doesn’t even exist yet, then you aren’t ready for one.

This is hella impulsive but I was taking stock of my energy tonight and I realized a lot of it inadvertently goes towards this site. I love Tumblr because you all are so fucking funny and real and unfiltered and gay. Tumblr has also helped me grow in many areas of life by exposing me to new perspectives and information I wouldn't find in mainstream media. We all bitch and moan about this fucking site but we truly are a community here no matter how obnoxious that sounds it's true! Y'all really like a global and digital family that ignores me 99.98% of the time but still sticks around for some reason. All that being said I think I am going to take a break for a while. Delete my app and see how much time I can free up. Most of y'all won't even notice this. If my followers are anything they're consistent in ignoring me so I don't expect them to switch up now! A new chatbot called Raheem.ai helps the public rate police interactions.

Founder Brandon D. Anderson created the company after his partner was killed by police in a traffic stop gone bad.

Raheem.ai is backed by an accelerator for nonprofits called FastForward.

Raheem.ai anonymizes all the data it collects so users can be as candid as they like without fear of retaliation. The start-up plans to publish quarterly reports showing where police are working well or failing communities across the U.S. It will also deliver custom reports to precincts, cities or campuses to help them pinpoint areas for improvement, Anderson said.

i haven’t stopped seeing notes for this since I posted it and I just wanna reiterate: it’s really important that you don’t get romantically involved with people you can’t be friends with. Separating a romantic relationship from a platonic context is unhealthy. Your romantic partner/s should always be your friend/s.
