Perfect Magazine has published previously unpublished photographs of 27-year-old Alexander McQueen.
Last year, while sorting through a warehouse, Phil Poynter stumbled upon a couple of rolls of unprocessed film, examined them, and discovered stunning images taken in the spring of 1996 during late-night strolls with friends, including the late McQueen, who was appointed creative director of Givenchy just a few months later.

In search of inspiration, Daniel Roseberry traveled to Rome, where he first saw the Sistine Chapel. "I was struck by the difference between the walls and the ceiling," he said. "The walls were created 40 years ago by a group of artists. They were so static, controlled, and austere, whereas the ceiling was like a four-year, slow-motion, orgasmic performance. And I was so inspired by this liberation."

Chanel's lightest bag.
The classic flap bag looked almost ethereal—transparent, crafted from the finest muslin, as if floating in mid-air. Inside was an embroidered message: a love letter or a zodiac sign.
Customers can inscribe their own message on it upon purchase.

Valentino Garavani died a week and a half ago in Rome at the age of 93. In his honor, the Valentino fashion show opened with an excerpt from Matt Tyrnauer's documentary "Valentino: The Last Emperor."
They appeared one after another in a series of circular "Kaiserpanoramas" installed at the Tennis Club of Paris, with viewers peeking through small squares built into the walls. The Kaiserpanorama, first introduced in 1890, was a form of stereoscopic entertainment that predated cinema.
Michele moved freely between decades, without the pressure of following a specific theme, as might be the case with a ready-to-wear show destined for stores. The collection was united by his artistry and his unconventional vision of beauty and drama.
John Galliano and Jonathan Anderson
John Galliano attended Jonathan Anderson's Dior show, marking his first appearance at the house since 2011, carrying his flower motif that inspired the collection.
In an interview with BOF, Anderson revealed that Galliano was the first person he showed the collection to ahead of the press. He said Galliano was a lifelong influence calling him "Dior" in the public imagination due to the length and impact he had at the house.
Galliano offered a piece of advice: "The more you love this brand, the more it will give you back.!"
He was also seen after the show speaking with Hélène Mercier, the concert pianist wife of LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault.

"The Agony and The Ecstasy"
The "Isabella Blowfish" is a sharply tailored silhouette covered in studs, named after the late haute couture collector Isabella Blow.
The entire visual logic of this look rests on a play on words: Isabella Blow (who loved and wore intricate couture) + blowfish.
