Do you ever worry about perverted or harmful things in the Moomin fandom like other fandoms suffer with?

No, I don’t really worry about it. Even if I'm worried, I can’t stop people to do what they do. I think everyone has their right to create what is pleasing to them. (as long as they are not hurting anyone including themselves!)However, those works should be posted with the proper tags or privately.

Hi! I have just dicovered your blog and I admire the way you're drawing and how you're managing colours... It's really beautiful and your style is marvelous! And I've been wondering if you have any advice for someone who is just starting an adventure with art... Is there any golden rule to capture shapes? Thanks in advance <3

Thank you so much! I’m glad that you like my style :D In my opinion, there is no golden rule to capture shapes, but simplify the shapes of the object helps me to draw better. 

Other general advice:

1.  About style: Don’t worry too much about finding your style because it will come to you naturally. I mean I don’t even think I have an art style before. 

2. Look at photographs and other’s artwork: For reference or inspiration. I get lots of inspiration and learn something(landscape or poses) that I’m not familiar with from other’s works, but remember it doesn’t mean copying their works. When you look at a drawing, look for something that interests you and what you don’t like. There is always something you can learn from others. 

3. YouTube: There are speedpaint and art commentary which you can learn a lot from. I recommend a channel called Adam Duff LUCIDPIXUL, his style is very different from mine, but I enjoy listening to his advice to artists.

4. Put yourself first: it’s good to practice. but don’t forget to get enough rest. Doing your best doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your sleep or your health for it. Do what make you feel good. 

Most importantly is to have fun! It’s your canvas, you get to choose what to do. There are endless possibilities, and whatever you draw, you create something new for this world. Sorry that I couldn’t give you more technical advice. You are the first person who has asked me for art advice, and I’m not good at it, so please correct me if I’m wrong. I hope this helps you on your journey :D
