I'm trying to get through 50 books by the end of the year and I'm at like 5 so what I really should do is avoid online forums entirely in favour of reading. also because it is embarrassing to be on reddit at the bar. I'm not sure if enough people even use tumblr for the app to be clockable at a distance so maybe that's safe. I just discovered joyce carol oates (lol) so I read "black water" and now I'm reading "them".

chase’s gecko nettle died suddenly this morning, I feel awful. I’ve been watching her while he’s away and she liked to sit and watch you work so I’ve been working at the dining room table just for her :(
