It taught her to trust in people. Before Alexis' trip to the school, she was an all-around mess. She would sell drugs, get in dangerous situations and all of that eventually end incarciration. From that moment forward, she had lost faith in trust of everyone and her parents lost the same amount of trust in her.
Brooks was something that she had nowhere near anticipated, even though her parents had sent her there to become 'clean'. But, what she did not expect was for that very school to teach her to open up to people, love again or actually accept herself as who she was. After her time in Brooks, Alexis moved to New York with her roommate and bestest friend, Asia. While there, Alexis confessed to her parents that she was bisexual and to her surprise, they accepted her as for who she was because they noticed the change in her attitude. Alexis felt like she needed another change in her life; Holden. The boy was quickly climbing up in his career and Alexis only felt that she served a great distraction to the boy. Slowly and painfully, Alexis rid herself of the boy's life, which still ached her to this very day.
In the city of hopes and dreams, Alexis turned into a profession that she had never thought she would enter; Modeling. It caused Alexis to travel around the world with both Zack and Buzz and eventually led them to beautiful cities, such as Paris, Venice and her hometown, Sydney.
Eventually settling back in the very city that brought her to fame, Alexis became a renowned socialite and social activist for New York. Her life became even more of a Cinderella story when her Prince Charming, Zack, decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Which brought her here; Brooks Ten Year reunion. Seeing the ship only made Alexis want to become more emotional than she already was. She was going to see everyone, whom she kept all in contact with, such as her Queen, Dork, Alligator, Supermon, Deportation Buddy and numerous others that she had not seen for quite some time. Bringing out an oversized box of already-opened Sour Patch Kids, Alexis grew irritable as her fingers could no longer fit inside of the box. "This baby thing is going to be the death of me," she muttered to herself.
