( Asahina-san. )
So running wasn’t quite Naegi’s thing. Aoi paused and pursed her lips, bunching them up to one side as she thought. He had offered to do something active with her, and while he was ginger in talking about it, she could only assume that he was legitimately interested in the idea. He’d say otherwise, right?
…Right?
Aoi shrugged it off and lifted a finger in the air, ready with another option. “Ok, well if running isn’t your thing, then we can just start with a walk. That’s easier on the lungs, but it still gets your legs moving. And trust me, a mile isn’t that far, I bet you could walk at least five and not feel it that badly.”
That look she was making really wasn't helping things. Running wasn't so bad itself, but there wasn't much of a chance to keep up with Asahina unless she slowed down. He felt a little bad just making her wait like that, though. It wasn't that he wasn't interested at all, he just didn't exactly want to hold her back... that and running a few miles was probably out of his league (not including Asahina herself). "Walking definitely sounds better. I think I'd actually be able to keep up by then..." He gently rubbed the back of his head with a smile, "Wow Asahina-san, you really must have to practice a lot if you're that good. I think I tire out just around half a mile..."
