actually crazy how ctommy was horrifically abused by cdream in exile and always viewed death as a permanent escape from his torment (so much so that suicide was a reoccuring theme throughout the entire arc, from drowning in his sleep to the tower scene) and the next time he was forced to be alone with cdream again it turns out his abuser had quite literally conquered the forces of life and death so ctommy could never escape his control, and there was no chance of a permanent release or safety ever again.
