Driving a Hard Bargain [Open]
Needless to say, Kyo was one of the students that was gasping and yelling in complete shock.
âW-Wait what? Are you being freakinâ serious here?â
He asked his solemn questions as if Monokuma was going to answer him with absolute glee. Not that he did. Just as soon as he was done explaining this new situation of mutual killing to the class, the bear hopped off and left them, confused and angry.
Kyo really didnât want to live here the rest of his life. He didnât want to waste another moment that would compromise his dreams, or at least, whats left of them. Even so, they were clearly trapped here until one of them killed a classmate and that seriously wasnât how Kyo wanted to escape. He frowned, biting his lip and constantly ran his hand through his hair with an anxious look on his face. He turned on his heel and made his way, slowly and limping, towards his designated room.
Someone here could already be planning to kill him right?
The most favorable outcome would be for him to trust that no-one here would actually listen to the bearâs demands but for some reason this hope didnât settle well in his brain. Kyo didnât trust anyone here. They could stab him in the back at a moments notice. He had to be prepared. He had to be on guard. As he walked cautiously and painfully towards his room, he began to worry. His injury slowed him down and just like in the animal kingdom; the predator will always stalk and attack the old, the sick or the weak.
His face drained of colour as he slid into his room. It looked pretty standard, nothing too edgy or special. It just created this eerie normality to such an abnormal situation. Was it Hopes Peak Academy that was allowing this brutality?Â
He had found his Electro-ID just as Monokuma had instructed. He switched it on and with a cheery intro tune, he was faced with his own identification.
Name:Â Ćteki Kyo
CV:Â Super High School Level Swim Coach
Age:Â 18
As he flicked through each page of the ID, he noted the rules for their stay as well as a profile on each of the students here. He began to put names to faces but his recognition of them from the outside world was fading.
Clearly, their situation had been premeditated. He crashed down on his bed and covered his eyes with his hands for a moment, trying to grasp on the reality of the situation. He couldnât just sit here and wait for someone to murder him. Thatâs not how he was raised. With a heaving sigh, Kyo rose from his bed and explored the room a little.Â
In plain sight was something he could rely on to support him⊠Literally.
Kyo quickly grabbed onto his walking stick, an item that he had brought with him on the trip but thought he had lost when he arrived here. It was only a small beacon of joy but at least he would be able to walk with less pain. He sighed again and clicked his way out of his room and locked his door. He spun on his heel to leave whenâŠ.
âW-W-W! Please donât kill me!â
He was cowering against his door as a figure stepped in front of him
