I need Mohan leaving to be the thing that allows her and Abbot to be together. He’s not her boss anymore, so I want him to casually mention her in future seasons in a way that makes it clear that they’re dating.
As much as I love to read about it on AO3, I just don’t see them having ever gotten together while he was in a position of authority over her - she’s too aware of the optics of sleeping with an attending and the potential career ramifications of that and he respects her too much to make the first move when he does have that (actual or perceived) power differential.
Sean Hatosy is clearly onboard this ship (he’s captain of the Mohabbot ship who am I kidding) so maybe I’m not being completely delusional?
More than that I want her to stay on the show but I will accept this as a consolation prize.
