it read like a 2014 frerard fic, complete with the cartoon villain that was crowell. the whole thing was an ilya character study (not complaining) that turned shane completely two dimensional (i AM complaining) to the point where even his POVs felt like looking in from the outside with no real insight into his thoughts or feelings.

a little scared for season 2 because how do you turn that into something watchable

i sometimes forget that there’s kids on the internet who are also allowed to have opinions on characters and media. just saw a tiktok (shudder) about mary and john winchester and the comments were all about how they didn’t like mary which. yeah fair same. but the main issue so many of them had was… her hooking up with ketch? like of allll her character flaws you picked that time when she, a 25 year old woman, fucked her hot coworker? girl ME TOO!
