Do you guys ever think that John gets salty when Nik is busy?

Like, he used to hear Nik complain all the time when he was out doing whatever for the country, and honestly he would brush it off with a, “I’ll be back love”, or something like that. But now that he’s less busy, he wants to make up for lost time and give every hour of his day to the Russian.. except he’s busy now, and John isn’t too happy.

Nik doesn’t pay too much attention to John’s attitude and brushes it off as his husband just having one of “those moments”, but little does he know that same husband of his is pacing around their room while he’s out on leave wondering if he should call or text, yet holding back to avoid coming off as clingy.

John’s just got a lot to figure out… and maybe Nik needs to ask more questions.
