Visual Novel Proposal Post - Somewhere in bridgewater
To give you a rundown, somewhere in Bridgewater is a visual novel, story and choice driven 'game' (call it what you will) that takes place in Bridgewater Massachusetts, a place notorious for its paranormal and supernatural happenings.
Our story takes place in the late 1990s, following Jamie Sullivan, a local detective, is investigating into the murder of his late wife, Jane. Jamie links her death to the several supposed Alien sightings that have been reported all across town as of late, which have been becoming more frequent by the day.
You play as Jamie, balancing his work while also taking care of his daughter, Sabrina. Jamie is just barely getting by, and is increasingly becoming more infatuated with his work, not having even a moment to spare with his daughter. Jamie is required to speak with the people of bridgewater in order to obtain information about these aliens that Jamie may or may not have had an awfully spotty history with..
There isint a prominent romance theme as ive seen with other VNs, however there are options you can take in order to get there. I will warn you; you will be putting them at risk by pursuing them.
