okay so i just saw the 20th anniversary screening of pride & prejudice (2005) and it was actually magical. i’ve seen this movie more times than i count on my fingers, but something about watching it with a crowd. i realized that i had only ever viewed it by myself, at home. the reactions of the crowd really enhanced the experience. collective laughter at funny scenes and hearing small bits of commentary from the people around me. all the audience swooning over the romantic scenes and the gasps at love confessions. i was only a few months old when the movie was released, but i can’t help imagining that’s what release day felt like. i didn’t think i could possibly love the movie more and yet i stand corrected

i’m sorry but the funniest thing to ever happen in the x-files is by far mulder receiving a vial supposedly containing an important antidote in a vial from a villain character, so to test it first he gives it to the lone gunmen to run through the gc-mass spec they have (???) and it comes back as pure water, nothing else in it. naturally he goes back to the villain demanding the real antidote and the villain is like “there’s a microchip in the bottom of the vial dumbass”
