Originally my WoL, Ilvana/Ilva is my number 1 pathetic blonde woman and it all revolves around her. Frequently my profile picture (courtesy of @aegagrus) is her. Ilva is a tall, pale, heavily scarred, blonde woman at the upper limits of an unusually long life full of regrets. Her “base” lore has her as a Veena Viera, which I have made far too much lore for that I do not want msq to visit it, but unless stated otherwise assume I am referring to her state as a 283 year old gunbreaker/reaper. Her character handles the perverse nature of vulnerability; unhealed family issues, rapidly declining mental health, violent pasts, emotional instability, hyper sexuality, and alienation. My tragic woman defined by her failed relationship and lack of identity. Average height, average appearance, utter unamazing yet the most beautiful woman I could conjure Ana is Ilva’s former lover that split after a short but intense relationship. Similarly, her base lore is rooted in FFXIV, she is a half Garlean astrologian archon, with as much baggage around that as those who know would expect. Much of Ana’s character revolves around the fear of succeeding, self sabotage, insecurity, lack of agency, and interpersonal exploitation. Ilvana’s eldest sister, my mentally ill princess. Fixated, obsessive, and controlling, Mreiya grew into the leader she was raised to be but has destroyed everyone around her in doing it. Her and Ilvana have a very strained relationship, Mreiya never moving past the broken child she had to shelter and frustrated by Ilvana’s inability to let her fix everything. Mreiya is also a Veena in base lore, and while they are raised as sisters, Ilvana is technically their cousin adopted by their mother. Mreiya is similarly near the end of her life, realizing in dread that she will die alone due to her own actions, but having too much pride to remedy it. given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that
We will literally never progress past biphobia until people realize that bisexuals in het relationships are still having a queer experience by virtue of being bisexual, we do not magically oscillate between gay enough and too straight. I’m going to maul someone to death.
Literally whining— tldr job market sucks ass wish debt didn’t feel like the only alternative
I’m so frustrated about finding a job, even just a temporary one right now. Cause I have a program I really want to get into, but I just can’t afford it right now with my savings AND rent. If I had literally anything going on with income I could probably swing it with grants but as it stands I’d NEED to extend my loan (which I’m already dreading paying off) to do it. Program in question is a PDD in accounting from a college nearby that’s got a great path into [redacted certification], and company ties that hire right out of the program, so it’s so worth it. I meet all the qualifications and there’s cross-discipline grants for the program that I’m eligible for, but it’s getting the money to go into it. I need a job to go to school to get a better job to make enough money to a survive….. while getting endless updates about how the unemployment rate in my country and ESPECIALLY my province is skyrocketing </3 I really don’t want to extend my loan cause as it is it was only for two years and is manageable, but anything more is gonna be a lot worse in the long run. I already got kinda saved by tax return being shockingly large, and if my unemployment continues I have to apply for welfare. Good country great job
I was unsuccessful in gathering myself together for oc unwholesome week I fear, but I do have genuine Ilva lore WIPs that I’m happy with so I may post those this weekend instead
