"Oh, I don’t do injuries,” Kari responded lightly, “However, I’ve heard a few people do! Uhm, well obviously there’s that Clarke girl, but I heard there’s another medic— Tess, I think her name was? Maybe Tessa? I don’t know, but I heard she knows what she’s doing.”
"Everyone here is so unhelpful, I may as well just chop it off."
"Well, if you’re concerned about Clarke just go to Tessa — she’s a lot less uptight about the whole medic situation."
"I can't really move right now, why can't you do it?"
"No I don’t sorry."
Helpful.
I don’t but I’m sure Tessa will be able to. What happened to it?
I think it might've been the fog?
Octavia glanced at the boy who sat next to her and shrugged lazily. “Unfortunately, not my expertise. You’ll want Clarke for that.”
"I think she might have more important things to do than worry about my ankle." He muttered, wincing slightly.
Remus huffed and slumped down onto one of the discarded logs, half-heartedly clutching his ankle. "D'you happen to know how to fix a messed up ankle? It's becoming...inconvenient."
Elle sat down and leaned her head against the wall. “I don’t know. I need to find Clarke or Tessa, have them look at them.” She said. “Are you okay?”
Remus' brows furrowed as he sat opposite her, giving her a once over. "Just a little tired and out of breath. What happened to you?"
"Just the look of it alone, is something we should not be near." She told him, losing her breath far to quickly for her own liking of how fast she was running but she didn’t want to be anywhere near that fog. Gripping onto his wrist, she headed in the direction he had pointed out. "Don’t you dare get lost in this, we need to stick together." She warned.
"Get lost in this? C'mon, I'm totally faster than you." He mocked, the words hardly making it out of his mouth in anything but a loud whisper. He pushed himself and the girl toward the entrance and tried his best to avoid as many roots and branches that were being thrown at him. "Go on, get in, get in, get in." Rem panicked further when the finally reached the opening, frantically moving his gaze between the two obvious things.
”Well you better get those skinny legs moving then.” Carmen began to run once again, continuously changing her directions by jumping over rocks and various tree branches. ”There…” She huffed out through her heavy breathing. ”Who the hell has doors and locks on a cave opening!” Carmen yelled as she tried kicking it down in anger. ”Shit…” She didn’t want to look back but she couldn’t help herself. The fog was closer than before which made her freeze in her spot at the realisation of death being near.
The taller 100 stared between the girl and the fog and clapped his hands in front of her face in a moment of panic, "C'mon, girly! You don't wanna be ground meat, do you? Get a move on." He exclaimed, pulling her into the entrance.
Adam gave him a mischievous smile at his offer. He got him right where he wanted him. Adam threw Remus to the ground and started running from the fog which was only seconds away. First one to a hiding spot chooses what I get to do to you!” he called out.
Remus choked slightly at the impact from the fall and pushed himself up as fast as he could, following the other away from the fog, his ankle catching the start of the fog; causing him to cry out in pain but run faster away from it. "I'm going to murder you, grounder, that's the first thing I'm going to do." He yelled, although it more or less came out strained and cracked due to his lack of breath and pain. Remus searched around the area until he spotted an overturned rock that would do the trick and ran for it, hoping he would be faster than the other. As he got to the hiding spot, he turned and looked for the other frantically, getting ready to slip into the spot. "You better hurry your little ass up or you'll be dead by morning!" Was the last thing Remus shouted before slipping into the space and clutching his ankle.
Elle scanned the area and pointed to the left. “There’s a cave right over there.”
Remus nodded and moved towards there, letting the girl into the stone first. Head moving from her to behind him within seconds of each other. "Are you okay?"
"Food is food, the less nicer tasting food gets given to who you like the least." She said rather simply shrugging before eyes widening as he began pulling her. "Hey What are you ” Stopping speaking once she saw the fog, the female picked up her speed so he was no longer pulling her. “That does not look good.”
"No, no it doesn't. And by the sound of -- well, every sound you can just about hear. I don't think we want to be anywhere near it." He sounded, words apart due to lack of breath. After a few more seconds he pointed to a short dip in the woods where there was a cave, moving his feet as fast as he could toward it. "You go in first."
”Do you hear his screams? I’m not letting you go back to nothing and I will definitely not let myself hear your screams too. Run with me or die…”
Remus considered this for a moment before sighing and running to her side. "Alright, we need to find a cave or something."
Her eyes averting over the other individual, Kari let out a simple smile, “Oh, it’s just you. Not that I know you, but nonetheless. I thought you were a grounder for a moment.” Letting out a quick laugh, Kari cocked her head, “Is that knife really necessary? It’s not like I’m going to violently assault you— I’m just out gathering herbs.”
"Remus, that's what people call me. Well, most of the time." The boy shrugged and tucked the weapon into his belt, leaning himself up against a nearby tree. "Sorry, I've had too many run-ins with those stupid grounders today to not. Honestly, they're savages."
"I wouldn’t dream of going back, not when I have so many other people to terrorize, starting with you!" he trapped Remus against a tree and happily watched as the fog got nearer.
Remus' eyes flickered from the boy in front of him to the fog. "Are you kidding me?! This isn't one of your weird, twisted games, Grounder, this is some messed up fog that's going to probably kill the both of us in about ten minutes, if that." The boy being pressed up against the tree all but growled at Adam, shoving him slightly. "I'll make a deal with you, we both get the hell out of here and you can do whatever you want to me, yeah? Just not suffocating the both of us with whatever the hell that stuff is."
