This is a nice idea, but of course the logic is flawed. If humans can dream and octopuses can dream, it doesnt mean that our distant common ancestor can. It's like saying because humans have limbs and octopuses have limbs, our common ancestor must have had limbs, when clearly it appears to be a limbless worm. It only suggests that it is possible, but that doesnt say much, unfortunately. Almost anything is possible.

A part of being an adult is living with regret and not allowing it to consume you. The older you get, the more mistakes you’ve made, opportunities you’ve missed, people you’ve disappointed. And every day you have to remind yourself to be kind and forgiving of yourself. You accept and love the you from the past and understand that it’s all a part of the process.
