Israel has closed all crossings.

Amjad Al-Shawa, a Palestinian aid leader in Gaza estimated fuel supplies could last three or four days, while stocks of vegetables, flour, and other essentials could also soon run out if the crossings remain shut.

My friend Ahmed is extremely malnourished to the point of anemia and fainting. His family has struggled to afford the high costs of survival through the winter, and the recent closures have sent costs of food and medicine skyrocketing. I am afraid he will starve to death.

Gaza is entirely dependent on fuel brought in by trucks, so this closure puts hospital operations at risk. How will he and his family receive emergency healthcare when the hospitals have no power?
