Reunion.
Cas pulled back to look into Conner’s eyes. “I’m having trouble believing this is real.” Cas said kissing him again. He ran his hands slowly down Conner’s torso, remapping things he thought he would never get to feel again. The dip under his ribs, the arch of his hips. With shaking hands, Cas moved to unbutton Conner’s jeans. “We…We don’t have to you know.” Cas said quietly. If Conner wanted, they could just hold each other. Cas knew what heaven was capable of, and he didn’t want to think about what could have happened to his mate there. At the thought, fierce love, and possession shot through the bond they shared, and Cas kissed Conner softly once again, waiting for his decision.
Conner was shaking a little, but he reveled in the touch. A soft, gentle touch he’d not been allowed in what felt like years. His skin felt hot and cold at the same time, something he couldn’t really understand. He was shaking a little harder when Cas’ hands made it to his jeans. His words had him pausing, as well. Then he shook his head. “Please.” He breathed out, looking up at Cas through dark curtains of hair. “None of this feels real. I haven’t… felt whole since we were separated. I don’t know if I will ever feel whole again, without our girl…” His voice got rougher as he spoke, the pain still fresh. “But I can have you. Just… please, just give me a reminder that this is real. That I have you. That they didn’t take everything. Make me forget it hurts, please, Cas.”
