Announcing DAVEKAT WEEK 2025 running from September 21st to September 27th!

Davekat week is an annual event with the purpose of celebrating and creating content (be it drawings, music, fanfic, or crafts) around the pairing between Dave Strider and Karkat Vantas, each day of the week encouraging a unique theme for your art!

The very first DKW was put on in response to davekat's implied canonization in 2015's upd8s, and look how far we've come since then!

DAY 1 Sunday, September 21st: DECADE

What is davekat doing 10 years after the comic? (Or 10 years before? Being babies, probably.) Is your Post-Canon Beyond Canon compliant or divergent? You decide!

DAY 2 Monday, September 22nd: THROWBACK

If you've participated before, use this day to recreate an old submission! If you haven't, recreate any older davekat piece! If you've never made davekat fanwork before, welcome! Put them in a past era of your choice.

DAY 3 Tuesday, September 23rd: DOMESTIC

what do you think of the movie versions of the lego ninjago characters compared to the tv show versions?

I dont really think its a good idea to compare characters that have been developed for almost 20 seasons and characters that were barely revealed in one movie. But I can still say that I like the characters in the movie. They are funny and so teens! Like in the show they are also kind of teenagers up to a certain point but in the movie its more noticeable (as a kid I actually thought that the ninjas from the show were like 20 yo or something like that lol)

I want to note that I was really charmed by Lloyd Garmadon from the movie! He is so cutie patootie. I wanted to hug him so much during the whole viewing. It was also interesting to watch him considering that at least one of his parents was with him. Sounds a little sad. I guess

Btw about the parents. Koko is very sweet and a MUCH better mother than Misako. I dont think I need to explain what is what. Garmadon is funny but I think all the tragedy of his character was killed. Like of course everything that happened to him was sad but like ahh everything is not as bad as in the show

I dont know what else to say. I just recently came from a slightly exhausting event and my brain is not working a little. But I hope you get my point

After all I want to say that I like movieverse! Like guys, we have an official school AU! Yeeey!

I also bought myself a lego ninjago movie game about a week ago. As I understand it the plot is the same as in the movie, just a little expanded. Or compressed? Idk I havent finished it yet but so far I like everything
