how excited are u for the new content we are about to get from gosling being ghost rider 🤨

hello my dear koolie i love you so much!!!! thank you for asking me this!!! i have been tortured by it in both good and bad ways since it has been announced. i think i blacked out a little bit writing this. i am so sorry for how long it is. see my thoughts below the cut. once again, i adore you koolie!!! i hope you know im geeking tf out bc i was the person you thought to ask about this. <3

little bit of c lore: ghost rider is the first superhero i ever loved. i adore that character more than i can even describe. he's everything to me, and i know that the nic cage movies are bad, but i do really like them a lot even though they're terrible. sue me, you know? i love johnny blaze. i love complex characters who have to reap what they sow. and complex characters that actually do a really good job reaping what they sow, because he does. and he also is like. objectively. one of the most powerful and sexiest heroes in all of marvel's canon. i am nothing if i am not a slut for that kind of power and sexiness.

so to say that im excited for ryan gosling to take on that mantle is an understatement. i think that he's the perfect actor for that gritty and fucked up and dirty and depressive but also fiercely protective and incredibly righteous and beautiful character. this is especially true considering he always plays those characters really well and i've been itching for another one since he's been doing really silly movies lately. and i think he'll be hot as FUCK (pun intended heh) and that it'll look so good because how could it not? ghost rider is objectively fine as fuck and so is ryan. plus he's been wanting this for years, and he seems to know a lot about the character and the comics and apparently really cares for him. perfect casting. i think he'll be phenomenal. incredible. beautiful. perfect. outstanding. mind blowing.

so yes i am stoked to see all of that content. i want him in leather and whipping chains into bitches while he's riding a motorcycle and i want him on fire while he's in leather and whipping chains into bitches while he's riding a motorcycle. i want him doing penance stares and ripping souls to shreds. i want him to be overwhelmed with vengeance and fucking mean and brutal while also being so caring and protective of the innocent. and i can't wait to see how good he is at it. i don't think i'll be able to come back from that. i'll end up going into a lust-ridden coma.

that being said. my main issue is the director. i don't think that shawn levy can handle a character that complex. i think he is not great at directing and his writing is mid at best. at this point please let me do it. i will take care of johnny blaze. IF that's the rider rygos will be, that is. but i have a feeling he will be, because i can't imagine him as any other rider. and frankly i don't want to.

tl;dr: very excited for how hot (ba dum tss) rygos will be in that role. i think he is perfect for that character and will handle it with so much care and consideration. i hate shawn levy and if he makes that very serious character stupid and silly a la deadpool (i hate ryan reynolds) i will absolutely burn down marvel studios.
