Uncutting - new account
Okay! I made the new account and did a url switcheroo with the current/old one, in order to keep the link intact (pun somewhat intended). So you can now follow me at.... uncutting.tumblr.com!
(To clarify, you’ll have to re-follow. The one you’re following currently now links to “uncutting-old”)
Again, I don’t foresee myself doing much with the new page, considering I already semi-retired this blog a couple of years ago. But at the very least, expect some informational reposts eventually!
Wow. The end of an era.
(If you didn’t already hear, Tumblr is no longer allowing “adult content” as of December 17.)
With the future of blogs like mine being in jeopardy under the new community guidelines, I’ve been thinking about what to do going forth. While I shied away from posting explicit nudity quite a while ago, it seems that even strictly educational nudity is likely to be on the chopping block. In other words, this blog in its current form, with no alterations, won’t have a place on Tumblr after 12/17.
Rather than let Tumblr flag and remove posts all willy-nilly, I would rather just do it myself. It’s likely that I’m going to deactivate this blog in the next week or so. BUT... I’m thinking of starting anew after that.
Now, it’s not like I really post here much anymore anyway. But I’ve always thought it important to keep this page up for informational purposes. I’ve spent too many hours writing about topics near and dear to me to just let them vanish completely. I want a place to move some of my text posts, where they’re safe and sound, still readable to the public, and not sharing space with old NSFW posts that put the blog at any risk for deletion.
So, I guess I’m going to make another account, and transfer some posts over there. I don’t necessarily plan on posting much if any new content, but I’ll still be popping in there from time to time to check messages. In other words, don’t miss me too much, I’m not leaving Tumblr any more than I already have! I’ll just be under a new account that you’ll have to re-follow (if you so choose!) I’ll announce where the new account is once I figure things out.
In the meantime, I’ll be online for another hour or so, feel free to message if you want to chat, or reminisce about the good ol’ days. I miss you guys!
Oh Joy Sex Toy: Homologous Genitals
Just like how we’re all made of the same stuff as stars, everyone’s genitals start out with the same basic structures. How they develop is based on what hormones they’re exposed to in the womb.
This comic brought to you by our patrons on Patreon. Thanks, guys!
Just wanted to hop up and say if you think circumcision is normal and acceptable and wanna just casually snip penises of babies then kindly fuck off :) stop mutilating genitals mmmkay :)
Reblog if you're restoring your foreskin, or have a loved one who is.
Let’s see how many of us there are on Tumblr!
Somebody replied “How do you regrow your foreskin?” so here is my foreskin restoration FAQ!
So there was an analogy put forward a few years ago about the effect circumcision has on the male orgasm.
To summarise, the foreskin allows for orgasm to build with a welling of sensation. It’s like a tide coming in, with wave after wave of sensation until orgasm occurs.
Without the foreskin orgasm is still possible, but it just kind of happens without much of a build up. Less like a tidal flow and more like a tsunami.
Having had about a third of my foreskin removed I will vouch for this difference. I’m relearning what my body’s signals are as orgasm approaches and I will confirm that while I still experience the tidal build up I have so far been taken by surprise when all of a sudden the tide is in and everything is happening.
Foreskins are magical things. Probs don’t cut them off. Xoxo
It’s important to note that there are varying degrees of circumcision, and thus the impact on sensation/orgasm will vary accordingly and can be somewhere in the middle of what’s described above. But all in all, this a decent comparison.

Follower survey!
Although this blog is basically retired, I’m still curious to hear from those who read it! So I’m reposting this survey for old times’ sake, if anyone feels like taking it. All responses are kept private! I don’t do anything with this data, it’s just for fun.
Note: I think the link to my Ask box might not be working any more, so just send this through a direct message.

Dusting this off again for a bit...
Do any of you have experience with vaginismus, or similar conditions? This has been an ongoing issue in my recent sex life, and I could use some advice and/or commiseration. Message me if you’re up for talking about it!
Thoughts and questions
Hey guys! It’s been so long, I don’t really know where to start, but I’ve been wanting to get some thoughts out for a while.
I know I never gave any proper goodbye or formal announcement that I’m retiring from this site, I just sort of faded away... It’s been well over a year since my last post, and I’ve debated for a while if it’s even worth talking about at this point. I figure a lot of people who followed me back in the day aren’t even on Tumblr any more. But for those who are still around, you can listen to me ramble for a bit!
So why did this blog fizzle out? It’s a combination of reasons... For one, I re-entered the dating world around that time, and I felt less and less comfortable running such an explicit blog. It’s not exactly good date conversation haha, and it just felt like this weird burdensome secret I was keeping. I’m also more busy than I used to be. I was in college when I started this blog, and then for a few years I was working irregular hours and had a lot of time off. But these days, I work a full-time job with pretty consistent hours, so I just don’t have the time or energy for blogging like I used to. Overall, after 6+ years of running a somewhat intensive blog, I’ve wanted to focus on different things in my life.
I’ve been doing pretty decent the past year. I’m in a very happy and healthy relationship, I’m feeling pretty content with my work situation for the time being, I’m been focusing more on my physical and mental health, and spending more time with hobbies I’ve neglected for a while. I still struggle with certain things, but overall, my life is probably the most together it’s been.
Intactivism is still very important to me. My current partner is 100% on board with my views, and very supportive of my foreskin restoration (which I’ve actually been keeping up with pretty well lately!) I still browse intactivist/restoration websites, and although this is my first post on Tumblr in a very long time, I do pop in here to browse/check messages every so often. Which brings me to a question I want to ask... what happened?
There used to be such an active intactivist community on Tumblr. Mine was just one of many blogs dedicated to the topic, and there were so many different styles. Some were more sex-ed focused, while others were parenting blogs that touched on the topic of circumcision frequently. Some were focused solely on foreskin restoration, while other blogs were more social justice-based or political (which had its good and bad, of course). And in addition to the blogs that focused on intactivism as one of its major topics, it was also a frequently discussed/reblogged topic across Tumblr in general.
But from what I see (from tracking tags, going through notes on my activity feed, and checking out new followers), it seems like this isn’t the case anymore. There’s a lot less intactivist discourse on Tumblr, and what does exist, often comes from blogs I find a bit questionable (just my opinion!). There used to be a lot of crossover, I saw people of all different demographics and beliefs passionately supporting the idea of genital integrity for all. But it seems like the spark has gone out, at least on Tumblr.
I understand that not everyone maintains their website forever- after all, I’m among the many intactivist bloggers who have fallen by the wayside. But in the past, there were always fresh faces stepping up to replace the old and gone, so there was always a steady flow. It seems like this is less and less the case. It makes me kind of sad to see a scene I was so heavily involved with dying off, especially because this website really brought the topic to such a wide audience that otherwise may not have ever thought twice about circumcision. Is this just a natural side effect of Tumblr losing popularity? Are the other corners of the Internet where intactivism has moved to? If so, I would love to know, as I’m a bit out of the loop!
Or is this an issue with intactivism itself? I know the movement unfortunately has always had its fair share of misogynists, anti-Semites, and overall bigotry. Are these people becoming the new face of the movement? Are women and minorities feeling less welcome in the movement than just a few years ago? I hate to think that the bad apples are spoiling the bunch. I’d love to hear anybody’s input on this.
Thanks for reading this far. While this blog is officially retired and I’m not planning to revive it for the foreseeable future, it feels good to revisit here.
(I’ll probably be online for a few more hours if anyone wants to chat!)
hey! I was wondering your thoughts on labiaplasty and the rise of the surgery. Do you think porn is the reason why so many women want it done? And do you think the whole "small labia = better" thing is borne from porn? Or something else? :)
I’ve wondered about this myself. A lot of porn does feature smaller labia, and I’m sure that plays a role in influencing people’s perception of what “ideal” labia is supposed to look like. But over the years I’ve seen a decent amount of porn featuring more prominent labia as well, so I feel like there must be something more than *just* porn influencing it. I’ve seen really mean-spirited memes and jokes that are derogatory towards women with larger labia, and I think that’s definitely a huge factor as well. But that raises the question of, what inspires people to make those memes/jokes? Porn, or is there something additional?
I’d also like to know *when* labia self-consciousness became more widespread. Was this a common issue before Internet porn/discussions about it? Or did not many people worry about this until someone told them to worry about it? Can some of my older followers chime in about what perception of labia size was like in decades past?
If anyone wants to discuss anything related to labia, labiaplasty, etc, feel free to send an ask! Topic of the day perhaps?
I think it needs to be an unbreakable rule that I am no longer allowed to get into arguments with people over the internet about circumcision, because their refusal to actually listen to my points makes me angryyyyyy!!!
Haha, it’s infuriating isn’t it? I’ve been there plenty of times. But keep standing up for what you believe in! You just have to know when you’re not going to make any more progress with a person, and walk away when it becomes apparent that you’re wasting your efforts on them. Sometimes it’s beneficial to take an overall break from the topic too (as I’ve been doing a lot lately) and come back when you’re feeling more refreshed.
“I’m making the decision to not be ashamed of how my penis looks and stop caring if some schmuck I go out with is turned off by it. Taking a step a day, no matter how small, is still a step in the right direction to being comfortable in your own skin and ultimately leading a happier and healthier life. Be good to yourself, and take no shit. I’m embracing my goddamn foreskin because it’s here, it’s queer — get used to it.”
Never judge somebody based on what they do or don't do with a patch of hair above their genitals.

That’s great! Very thorough. I’m sure it will prevent at least a few unnecessary circumcisions from occurring :)
