I'm endlessly obsessed with the idea that Bias cares about his robot in a way that he could never care about another human being, but he denies himself even that meager feeling because it doesn't fit his ideal of a perfect mind.

And Gash... was never programmed to feel emotions to begin with, but his life begins and ends with Bias and he will serve in whatever way he is needed.
