"Living is a favor that you don't know when it will end - nor how to repay - but you know, right away, that it will end before you even want it to. Every day I feel that it was another day that was given to me and, at the same time, another day that was taken from me, which I will never recover."
Miguel Esteves Cardoso

-- Louisa May Alcott

To keep our hearts open is probably the most urgent responsibility you have as you get older.

I love the man but sometimes I get to ask if I'm giving so much and receiving so little? how do I get fueled with the right love when all he thinks is I need something different?
I hate how things are slowly becoming superficial between us. You become so affectionate when you're with your friends but so distant when it's just the two of us. What am I really to you? Am I really not worth pursuing?
