How to Deal with Insecurity in a Relationship

1. Take control of your thought life and focus on the truth. A lot of people become insecure because they imagine things falling apart. Stop imaging your partner being untrue to you, or becoming interested in someone else. Don’t let your fears create a false reality.

2. Let the relationship follow its own course. Allow yourself and your partner to simply be themselves, and to only commit what each is ready to commit. A good relationship is based on understanding and respect.

3. Don’t give into the urge to snoop around. Don’t start being sneaky, or acting in ways that make you seem suspicious or lacking in trust. That will only undermine your relationship.

4. Focus on being positive. Instead of using up your energy on feeling insecure – or in putting yourself down, or thinking of “what ifs”, try and think about the happy, good experiences you’ve shared.

5. Don’t compare yourself with others. We all have different strengths, personalities and gifts. Be proud of who you are – you are special and unique.

6. Don’t compare this relationship to previous relationships. Even where things have gone wrong in a past relationship, it doesn’t mean this partner is going to treat you badly. It’s a new chapter now – give your partner a fair chance.

6 Steps in Learning to Love Yourself

1.See the good in your past. There will always be things that we wish had never happened; there will always be bad memories and things that we regret. But they are part of who you are – so accept that they have happened and celebrate the person they’ve allowed you to become.

2. Invest time in the things that bring you happiness. It’s important to identify the things that you enjoy, and that make you come alive, and are all a part of “you”. Spending time on those things will help to raise your self-esteem, as you’re valuing yourself when you pursue happiness.

3. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. We all make mistakes - and when we think of them we cringe. But that doesn’t make you any worse than other people. Just try and learn what you can, and then move on with your life.

4. Stop criticising yourself. So often we’re really our own worst enemy. We look for our flaws, and we put ourselves down – instead of being understanding of our own limitations. It’s time to change that behaviour – so start loving yourself.

5. Listen to your instincts and intuitions. If you want to love yourself, you must listen to yourself. Pay attention to those instincts and your instant gut reaction – and trust that you are right when you hear that inner voice.

6. Appreciate your life. Of course there are things that you wish that you could change. But some things are good, and are worth appreciating. So, focus on, appreciate, and make lots of your strengths.

Coping Statements for Anxiety

It is often possible to manage anxiety by actively replacing irrational thoughts with more balanced and reasonable thoughts like the following:

1. I’m going to be OK. Sometimes my feelings are irrational and false. I’m just going to relax and take things easy. Everything is going to be fine.

2. Anxiety may feel bad but it isn’t dangerous. There’s nothing wrong with me. Everything is going to be OK.

3. Feelings come and feelings go. Right now I feel bad but I know this is only temporary. I’ve done it before so I can do it again.

4. This image in my head isn’t reasonable or rational. I need to change my thinking and focus my attention on something that’s healthier, and generally helps me to feel good about myself. For example _____________.

5. I’ve managed to interrupt and change these thoughts before – so I know I can do it again. The more I practise this, the easier it will become. Anxiety is a habit – and it’s a habit that I can break!

6. So what if I am anxious. It’s not the end of the world. It’s not going to kill me. I just need to take a few deep breaths and keep going.

7. Just take the next step. Just do the next thing.

8. Even if I have to put up with a period of anxiety, I’ll be glad that I did, and persevered, and succeeded.

9. I can feel anxious and still do a good job. The more I focus on the task at hand, the more my anxiety will ease, then disappear.

10. Anxiety doesn’t have a hold on me. It’s something I’m working on, and changing over time.

Neptune makes us feel something immaterial and out of this world. It’s where we can feel, see, hear, and sense what other people cannot. Our vulnerability also means we are subject to exploitation, our concept of reality is severely interfered with. It can be where we have feelings of exile, loneliness, or secret longings

Neptune in the 1st: Feels lonely in life and separated from the human experience, it may seem like it’s difficult to ever fit in

Neptune in the 2nd: Feels strangely uncomfortable and exiled in places/homes/buildings with unusual or striking vibes, rooms have a mood they can feel and it can be hostile

Aries is of course full of heart, Mars rules the blood and desire and passion, the Aries is lead by the instincts of heart, purely innocent and childlike, unashamedly devoted and loyal, the heart of a child

And Venus is ruled by Taurus, the heart could only be overflowing, to full, because everything is pure, sensual love reflected back at Taurus

And Gemini is full of love because there are two in there, two people full of love, double the heart

Compassion, motherly love, and devotion guides Cancer, they have romantic and sensitive hearts, they see soul and innocence in everybody, they want to repair everyone’s heart

And Leo rules the heart, the Sun rules Leo, everything orbits the sun, which is the heart of the solar system, the Leo vibration is the pure, creative love of God

Virgo’s soul ruler is the moon, the motherly love that transcends all space and time, Virgo operates on behalf of others, devoting themselves to larger-than personal causes, their labour is that of pure love

Virgo - The Letters of Love

The Virgo allure is endearing wit, bright eyes, and communication that can make strangers feel at ease. The more comfortable the Virgo becomes, the more sweeping and saturation conversation becomes. They can be transporting and seductive. But Venus is at fall in Virgo, so the expression of love does not come so easily. They are detached enough to be serial heartbreakers. Their youthful and responsive spirit can even seem flirtatious, so people can misread signals. The purity of Virgo however, expresses love in its wholesome form, reflecting their cleansing Sheaf Bearer. Their natural labor is love. Energy is produced on behalf of other people, so they can literally live for lovers. Communication is their communion, and they know when you need advice, silence, or space. Virgo associates with the mind. Conversation can be as intimate as sex for Virgo. But their earthy nature generates intense physical needs, so there is nothing undemonstrative about Virgo. They desire to make lovers happy. They commit themselves to lovers sexually, often subordinately. There is a great respect for partners and diversion from drama or controlling behaviour.

Virgos would rather have relationships acting as an addition to life rather than a requirement. They feel dependency is unfair to partners. Devoted and collaborative in love, Virgos rely on team work to maintain the partnership and enjoy watching the success story of loved ones. The sign of Virgo is renowned for its discrimination and perfectionism. They will prefer to sit back and patiently observe their object of desire before making their move.
