This blog is mostly dedicated to Dragon Age! I make art of various mediums, mostly of my DA OCs, but also of cannon characters and other things. I tend to forget abt stuff sometimes so my activity is pretty sporatic, but i love Tumblr and always end up coming back :D

Its back from being fired!!! Not bad if you ask me😊

The details are a liiiiiitle funky. And Im unsure if i should keep the yellow or attempt to color a metallic gold over it. But im so happy with it!

Like I said in my last post, ill probably never be able to afford an ACTUAL Last Flight Deluxe Edition. So having a cute ceramic vase themed off of it is really fun to me!

This is the closest I will probably ever get to owning the Deluxe Edition Last Flight lol. Its the only Deluxe edition I dont own, and my dream book right now. It just goes for so much online, so i decided to glaze this Book Vase to look like it instead for the moment! Took me the whole weekend but its finally ready to fire. I cant wait!

Its not 100% to the mock up I made. But pretty good for free handing it huh?

The Elven is... correct in spelling I think. But im unsure if its totally correct in positioning, and of course some of the nuance of the letter shapes was lost since its glaze and can only be so thin lol.

I didnt have any references for how I should write "Ir Abelas, Ma Vhenan" SO I used two references of Elven words, dechiphered them, and placed my letters based on how they were placed in those!

Im making a clay tray and am doing some rough mock ups of the design Im thinking of. I thought I might ask tumblr for some imput!

Also! Im thinking of putting an Elven phrase or quote from the games on it! But im not entirely sure what it should be. Maybe something like "Emma solas him var din'an - Arrogance became our end" from the Solasan Temple doors? Or even something as simple as "Ir abelas, ma vhenan"

Do you guys have any quotes or phrases from the games you think would fit here? They dont have to be elven, i just figured it fit the piece lol. Especially quotes from solas or quotes about the evanuris could fit. If you do have anything come to mind comment or repost with it! I figure you guys might be more creative than me lolll.

Do you guys think there are ppl in Thedas named Andrastian? Like how there are ppl irl named after religion, like Christian? Idk ive had that on my mind. Like it makes sense but also, we've yet to see it as far as im aware. Really food for thought abt how the religions in thedas probably should affect the names a lot like how they do irl.

This post is being turned in my head like a dish in microwave. And I still can't decide what I'd prefer. Definitely the religion should affect the names A LOT and I'm willing to believe there are Andrastians running around BUT also majority of names from christianity aren't direct like Christian. I'm gonna fumble with English names here and i don't care bc ferelded should be Poland fight me but but there's Christopher or Christine, etc.

BUT would there be Andrastes in Thedas? Because on one hand Mary is a normal name (tho in Polish we spell and pronounce The Mary differently because we're just so special) but Jesus? Only in some regions. I don't think they would allow a kid to be named Jesus in Poland.

[Quick dive into the rabbit hole: there were less than 5 people named Jesus (with Polish spelling, there are over 60 with English spelling and I assume hispanic pronounciation). All the kids named between 1950-1970. So I think now there would be a problem.]

Now, I'm sure there are Hessarians out there. Maybe some other based on the Chant and obviously the famous and extra religious Devines.

So... I think it would depands a lot on countries and regional sensibilities and I think that's amazing and I don't know if it will ever be useful but I'm saving it in my headcanon archive.

Now I'm gonna have fun. Because we were blessed with names like Bogumiła [liked by God], Bogusława [who praises God] or even Bożydar [a gift from God], so:

Paid 40$+ for the Dragon Age Role-playing Game Core Rulebook, only for it to be packaged badly and come in with dents😭

I mean at least the pages are okay. And its only really only one legit dent and a couple minor things on the back. So its not worth getting a replacement for, but Im still quite sad ):

I waited months to buy it because of the price as well, and it comes in damaged😭

Working through the painful experience of Re-making ALL of my dragon age notes since I lost all my old ones with my phone. And for real, as much as I love it, this is soul sucking.

I finally got the potions, tonics, and grenades situated separately and wanted to make a 4th note with their total count. Im reminded how much im gonna have to go through on my new nightmare run to do these😭😭😭

I plan to eventually write down where to get said plants, but not right now😭
