Honey, I'm Home|| Murse
Ursula would never have let those words pass from her lips before and though it might have seemed like an insignificant detail that she chose to be called Vanessa now it was quite the opposite. She was different if she was willing to accept what her mother had done to her. He gazed with somber eyes at her pained expression, staring out over the dark lagoon. He sighed and tangled his fingers with her’s, bringing her hand to his lips, holding it there for some time before letting their hands fall between them.
They sat there in silence for a while. The wind whistled through the leaves and snaked across the placid lake. He stared intently at a twig floating on the surface of the water, watched as the ripples vibrated out from it as though the water was trying it’s best to avoid the unwelcome guest. As his eyes scanned the scenery he mulled over all the options they had to proceed. Finally his mind settled on one very appealing idea, “We could always do what we do best,” he said, still staring out over the murky water, “We could kill her.” He turned his head back to her, “It would have happened eventually.”
Vanessa had no emotion when he suggested killing her mother. "Kill her?" she murmured and glanced off into the lake. It was something she needed to do. The final mission to finally set herself free some the world she hated, but something was now holding her back from fulfilling that dream. The desire to finally be free. Shaking her had and bit her lip. Could she even kill her mom? What if she tried to hurt Mor'du? She didn't even have half her strength back to take her mom on. Vanessa mentally slapped herself. Since when did Ursula tried to talk herself out of a killing? Especially if it was her mom on the menu? Vanessa took a breath, revealing herself of the thoughts in her head. She had called herself Ursula, but it wasn't her name. If her mom had really done something to her like everyone had thought the she needed to know. "Alright but, I'm not eating her. She is the one meal i will ever refuse."

Mor’du stared down at the ring in his hand for what felt like hours before he finally curled his fingers tight around it, leaving what he could only imagine to be a deep impression of it in his palm. Finally he slipped the ring into his shirt pocket, got up, and sat down beside her. Gradually he wound an arm around her waist, burrowing his face into her neck, kissing the gentle curve that sloped from head to shoulder. Propping his chin up against her shoulder, he spoke into the side of her face, “Please don’t do this to me, Urse. I’m trying. I don’t know what to do or how to go about doing it, I just know I need to help you remember… everything. Please, Urse… I need you back.”
Vanessa tears fell lightly taking in image of the lake, making an attempt to calm herself down. "Do what to you? Be myself? What am i supposed to do? I don't remember what my mother did to me, how am i supposed to go back to being her? Maybe she doesn't want to come back." She brought her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them and laying her head down. She was frustrated, not a him but at herself. If she hadn't of broken she wouldn't have forgotten this 'Ursula'. She blames herself for hurting him. He was losing the women he loved. And she was saying all these things she didn't mean but at the same time it was like she didn't care. She closed her eyes, forcing the clump of tears to fall down her face. "You don't have a plan to get me to remember. you keep saying you need her back but then you don't know how to get her back. Maybe you can learn to love me...As Vanessa." She turned her head away from him.

Mor’du shook his head again, “Hook told me, but Urse, Urse listen to me…” Hook was right, she needed help. How would he do this? She seemed so convinced, so set on this whole ‘Vanessa’ thing. How could he bring Ursula back? He took her face in both hands, “That isn’t you… It’s who your mother wants you to be… You can’t let her control you, I won’t let her control you.” he laid a deep kiss on her lips, “I fell in love with Ursula, not Vanessa.”
Vanessa closed her eyes as he kissed her deeply. But what happened after, was truly heart breaking. "I fell in love with Ursula, not Vanessa." The words played on repeat in her head. Sadness filled her eyes as she glanced at him. "Then you might want this back." tears flowed out of her eyes as she took off her engagement ring and handed it to Mor'du. "I don't remember Ursula, so this who i am right now. How am i supposed to break control when i dont even know a spell to break whatever she did? I'm still the same person. My name just fuckin' changed." Vanessa moved away from him, walking closer to the lake and sitting on the ground.

Mordu hung his head when she told him her mom found him abusive, “Do you… You don’t feel that way do you?” he asked hesitantly. The last thing he wanted was to be abusive to her. Yes the sex was violent but that was just how they were… at least that was what he thought. “Sorry that I’m weak…” she said, to witch he shook his head and pulled her close, kissing the top of her head, “No you’re not weak, Urse…” He rested his forehead against hers and looked deep into her eyes, “you could never be weak.”
Vanessa rolled her eyes at him. "If i thought you were abusive i would have done something by now." Others would probably assume its abusive, but why care? It was just a sex thing, and everyone gets their freaky off somehow. When she heard him call her 'urse' and sudden twitch accrued inside her. "I am weak because..." She took a breath and lost herself in his eyes. After a few minutes she shook attention to herself and gathered herself up. "Because my name isn't...Ursula. It's Vanessa...Hook did tell you that...right?" Deep down, something inside felt terrible to correct him on that. But, Vanessa really didn't feel bad at all. It was her name and she wanted people to call her it. The only reason she let Hook get away with is was because he had helped her.

Mor’du stared out at the lake trying to imagine what Ursula would look like when he saw her. His ear twitched as he heard footsteps behind him and he could smell the dried blood. But he couldn’t bring himself to turn around until he felt her fingers tangle with his. Slowly he turned look at her. She was still so beautiful, but seeing the fresh scabs and bruises that covered her body broke his heart. When her eyes met his he brought a hand to her cheek, trying to force a smile, “What did that bitch do to you?”
Vanessa leaned into his hand and smirked. "Way to easy into it...She tortured me that's all..She knew the kills here were me so she kidnapped me and wanted to teach me a lesson. And when i said that you were my partner in it and the scar on my face she assumed your were abusive and wanted to make me a lady..But with the bat, spells and curses...I managed to stay together because I knew i needed too. But when she threatened to kill you and dorian..i broke and she changed something about me." She looked away from his gaze. "Sorry that I'm weak.."

Vanessa walked the common room after much needed sleep. As she turned down the corridor she wondered how it went with Hook and Mo'rdu. But she quickly shook the thought about worrying for Hook. She paced herself, Taking the time to think about to say to him and the outcome of the conversation. Plus, she also wanted to scare people with her new scars. When she started to near the lake, she saw a figure. Hiding her smile immediately she quickened her pace, ignoring the small pains she was getting form it. When she slowed down she paused, watching him standing there. Mor'du had his back to her, probably getting impatient that she had not gotten there first. She took a breath, getting her emotions in check. She took a step forward and moved down to the lake. When was she was steps from him tears began to form in her eye's. She snaked her arm around his and held his hand lightly. Vanessa looked down the lake, not really saying anything at first. She looked up at him, finding that he had been staring at her. "Honey....I'm home" She tried to joke an let a small smirk play. She knew this was a serious matter. Mor'du was probably looking everywhere for her while she had been gone. But it was only a small attempt to lighten the air.
The whole idea of fame is uncomfortable. It’s not what you should want from this job. It makes me sad to see my younger cousins, the Instagram generation, obsessed with what people look like and what someone else has got. I just always loved the work. I try not to be wrapped up in my own dramas, because actress dramas are silly. My friend has just had a baby, and has a seven-year-old: her dramas are important.

This doesn't make us friends || Urse&Hook
"Well… I could… I mean if you want… I could help you explain to him what happened at least with the whole name thing, maybe once he understands he’d be more useful in helping you remember." He smiled awkwardly, the thought of him talking to Mor’du on Ursula’s behalf was pretty humorous to him, he could almost hear Mor’du sharpening his knife against his fork as Hook spoke. He nodded at Ursula, that awkward smile still painted on his face, "I think you both have you’re own methods of intimidation, you display your strengths in your own ways, making you equal and still different. For example I think people are pretty scared of your curses where they would fear Mor’du’s claws and teeth." He listened intently as she spoke about her mother’s views of Mor’du, honestly he kind of understood how he would give that sort of impression of being abusive and from the looks of it it seemed like Urse did as well… Hook found himself distracted, wondering if her mother was really the only danger she faced, even worrying that there was a danger much closer to Ursula’s heart that neither she nor Mor’du wanted to think about or admit. Then he realized he was worrying about this girl who not too long ago threatened to kill him, he was concerned about her like… like a friend? That was a surreal thought and he hastily tried to brush it off. Then something even more surprising happened, he saw a smile grace her face and… what was this? What sounded like a truly genuine laugh escaped her lips. His mind took a double take before he let a smile crack across his face. He could see she realized what had just happened too as she quickly tried to retract, "This doesn’t make us friends you know." She said in a clear attempt to redraw the boundary between them. In response Hook let out a light laugh and bowed his head, looking down at his feet, then raising his eyes back up from them with that casual, understanding smile he had found himself now using so liberally with her.
"Yeah, I know…" he replied, knowing full well that something had, in fact, unavoidably and undeniably changed between them. He knew she would never admit or acknowledge it, having him as a friend would only mean more "weakness" to her. So the words would remain unspoken, hiding between the lines, things would carry on as they had before, and he was fine with that. After all, unexpressed sentiments are yet perceived by those meant to hear them.
"Yeah, you would probably be the better one to break it down to him...It will give my some time go get some strength..and i don't want to see how mad he gets. I mean i know he won't hurt me but if your their..well then-" She smirked and brushed the boys shoulder. "Good luck champ, I won't be praying for you." She barely felt bad for sending him to go to mor'du, she was to selfish about her own well being. She wanted to be a little bit stronger so would be able to face him and not worry if she will collapse. "i love those curse..I also do those contract things, helping you for a price, sorta thing but thats not as common" She shrugged and leaned back on the couch. Rubbing her head she noticed how deep in thought Hook was and figured it was close to what she was thinking as well. Looking away, she tried to think of any positives to Hook being her friend. Helping her not feel so lonely, being someone she could confined in and ask for advice, a shoulder to cry on. She rolled her eyes and started reminding herself that nothing good ever comes out of being Vanessa's friend. Shaking her head lightly she bounced the thought out her head and recollected herself from the laughing slip.
She looked at him, keeping her face expressionless as he replied to her comment. She tried to not let it bother her. She knew it wouldn't be the same going back and treating him terribly after what just happened. But, it was how it needed to be. If she wanted to keep him safe she knew he would never be a friend of hers. "Well since that's settled.." She got herself up and looked down at him. "I really need some well deserved sleep. When you see Mor'du, tell him to by the lake tomorrow night." She raised a eyebrow and flicked Hooks nose. "Your actually kind of a smart kid."
