When love was eager
The descriptive image,
You on your knees,
Gives me peace,
Pace yourself…
This moment is paradise
And I deserve to be worshiped.
I’m waiting
On a desperate pillow of imaginary beings
Soft in my discomfort
What it all means
To survive
Thrive
Imbue creation at its core
I’ve come looking
Sight blinded by fate
There is nothing left yet I try
To peek through windows clouded
Sympathetic to my plight
I’m still hoping to find you
In my bedrock simply waiting
For me once again
To have you earthbound
Enlivened
A thought of perhaps
Hanging with punctuation
To proclaim or question
Shared wants needs desires
Your winsome eyes smile soul
Press close to mine
At last
November and long shadows
All at once
trees yellow
Melodies familiar
among pines
My crow still comes
Flowers still bloom
despite pending darkness
We try, we try, i cry
Your voice brings
calm
and yet I yearn
You smell like sleep
A sleep that I want to
breathe and be a part of
Deep sensing sleep
A sleep that I keep
Close, coming back, craving
A need to be…
Only with you.
San Francisco things
The opening Gala for the symphony, The Legion of Honor, Irish coffee, etc.
Fall hike to Bear Lake in the Indian heaven wilderness.
I can’t see past the thin lines and blurred vision
You had what was, I never remember
Clouds have gone and covered simple grey blue
Lost in creamy ribbons and a soft heart
I feel numb to my own touch
A comb through time
I am not what I see
The hum of an overhead draft
Keeps me pinned to the floor
As if I’m trapped and waiting for a hand
Or a set of lips perhaps a gift to help me see
What I truly am.
Summer, continued
A few summer things. And a lot of sky.
