Miss ya buddy 🍄
I love her
I love her. And I can’t think about anything else. The truth is that I’m not sure who she is. Over time she’s had so many faces and laughs. Her skin has felt different a dozen times. When her voice lingers inside my head amidst the constant ringing, it sounds unfamiliar, but calming.
Life is never the same without her. It’s always the same with her. Short. Half my life I’d spent watching her leave, ebbing away without a reason. She fell into an ether time and time again––sealed off forever by my jealousy, insecurity and need for understanding.Half my life, she leaves because I tell her she needs to. Now her disappearance is with purpose. My lack of desire to keep pushing forward. I miss the feeling of being in love with her. I dread this feeling of needing to feel that love again.
Who is she? The very question I ask myself each time a hint of familiarity slivers its way into my senses. Is this her?I love you.I think. Then I think too much. Incessant thoughts fill my head from sunup to five a.m. Questions of doubt lace every moment of bliss. I’m incapable of keeping hold of those beautiful moments any longer. I’m afraid. I’m afraid that I love her. I’m afraid that I’ll never see her again. I’m afraid she’ll love me one day when I’m too blinded to see it myself. Then I drift away, floating into her own ether. It’s a shame.
The thought of losing his focus troubled Iven immensely. His mind raced with a thousand options, of which giving up and retiring to bed was among the greatest, on how best to handle the predicament. He leaned back in his chair, gripping his head frustratedly, and moaned with the same dramatic enthusiasm as his sighs.
“Can’t not go find this thing. Couldn’t have gone far. Should visit Vod and clear my head.”
Chips croaked anxiously in the corner — clearly the thought that he may soon be without the hearth had crossed his mind. His master seemed quite unable to escape the thought of journeying, though Chips hardly knew why.
A sheet of snow fell from the roof and crashed onto the exterior sill of one of the cabin’s windows.
⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! The Timekeeper’s Pendulum Weapon (greataxe), legendary (requires attunement) ___
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While holding it, you can use a bonus action to speak its command word. When you do, you are affected by the "haste" spell, which lasts until the start of your next turn. At the start of your next turn, roll a d20. On a 1–10, you are affected by the "slow" spell, or the "haste" spell on an 11–20. The spell lasts until the start of your next turn, at which point you roll the d20 again. Continue to roll the d20 at the start of each of your turns in this way for 1 minute, gaining the effects of either the "haste" or "slow" spell each turn, or until you end it using a bonus action. This property of the axe can’t be used again until the next dawn.
In addition, when you roll a 1 or 20 on an attack roll made with this weapon, you are immediately affected by either the "slow" or "haste" spell, respectively. The spell lasts until the start of your next turn; if you are already affected by one of the spells, it’s replaced by this one for the duration.
These spells don’t require concentration, but the effect ends early if you start your turn without holding the axe or if you’re reduced to 0 hit points. Furthermore, you don’t suffer the effects of the end of any "haste" spell from the axe.
𝙍𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙. While holding the axe, if you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points but doesn’t kill you outright, you can use your reaction (before falling unconscious) to interrupt the current turn. You then immediately take an extra turn, and regain any hit points you lost since the end of your last turn, up to a maximum of 24 hit points. You are affected by the "haste" spell for the duration of this extra turn. Once this property of the axe has been used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn. ___

Inverse Werewolf.
Perfectly nice doggo who every full moon turns into a guy who's a real asshole
This will now be in my next world build as a first quarter moon NPC the party adopts 😁
Iven ran three purple fingers down to the tip of his plume. He studied the feather, and slowly panned up to his stuffed friend, whom he assumed was ogling him judgementally from above. The aspiring writer paused only momentarily before dipping the quill with complete self-assurance, as he had so many times before, into the deep-well of berry ink nearby. But today was different. Today he was going to start his book.
Iven Eifergot pressed plume to parchment and immediately lost his focus.
Domestic Actions For Heroes and Villains
I recently criticized that heroes and villains in the community have become too domestic, but my issue isn’t the domesticity itself, it’s that they’re being treated so much like ordinary people that they lose their hero and villain identities. But giving heroes and villains a domestic side to their crime committing and crime fighting selves is still very fun, so I thought I’d try my hand at making a list of domestic things they might do while still seeming like heroes and villains. (Hopefully that made any sense)
Hand sewing tears in their/their partner’s super suits
Wearing an apron over their super suit while cooking, after a job or in case they have to leave in a hurry.
Baking treats for their teammates/subordinates
Listening to tunes while deep cleaning the lair/hide out
Taking a bubble bath after a big fight.
Meal planning for the month knowing they’re always short on time. (Bonus if they plan a few treats for a sidekick, henchman, nemesis, etc.)
Washing/brushing partners hair (nemesis or teammate) after a battle.
Washing bloodstains out of clothes or out of teammates’ clothes.
Coming into a book club covered in grime and their super suit peeking out form under their clothes. “Sorry, I was really busy, so I had to listen to it on audiobook during work.”
Keeping the lights on in the house until their partner or teammates are home from their missions/crimes
Aaand that’s all I can think of for now! Not that exciting, but fun to imagine, and if anyone enjoys it just a little, that will be enough for me
I love the imagery and, while I'm not a fan of Deadpool, I got those vibes here in a positive way.
Prompt #966
"Why did you never tell me?"
"It was a personal issue."
"You being in love with me kind of also involves me."
"Love has a way of dismantling bonds when shared unequally." "I suppose I shouldn't blame you, taking actions based on past consequences." The two stared at each other awkwardly for a moment. He turned on his heel slightly, and looked back to her from over his angled shoulder. "I won't ask, then, if this time is different." "Suppose I'll see you later tonight?" "... Suppose."
"An overlooked painting leaned against the rear wall of an old shop -- surrounded by so many others. It was far from the largest, but its black and gold painted frame caught his attention. Set inside the water-stained matte, two silhouetted souls rowed their vessel towards a dark shore, where -- save the full moon -- a cabin window was all that illuminated the night. 'Peace', he thought."
🍄 Music to write to by the legend #MarkFarina
Iven fell back to the floor and hoisted himself up from his knees — the right popped loudly as its joint unbent. The book atop Iven’s handcrafted shelf first caught his attention, then his cloak and staff, and a few bits-and-bobs for travel: a wooden mug, a small metal pot, three empty jars with a brownish residue stuck to their insides, a stack of parchments, quill, corked bottle of berry ink and a curved knife perfect for paring.
Prompt #968
"It will cost you your soul."
"Not much left to lose."
The devil rubbed his chin curiously with two fingers as his mind went deep into thought. He sighed. "I'm not in the business of bartering for partial souls, but I am curious to whom you've sold portions in the past?" The troubled girl looked up from the bog where her sinking predicament was only growing worse. It was only for this moment she felt the chance at an upper-hand. "My freedom for that information sounds like a better deal."
North Entheona’s winters fell harshly across the mountains and spruces that dominated so much of Her landscape. The great spirit goddess Morenitsa returned each solstice and cast blankets of snow across the earth — when her initial magic left the world in frozen stillness, she spent most of the season dancing between the pines and howling throughout the mountains.
"I'm back!" - local guys says to his zero followers on Tumblr, but he seemed excited about returning. A fictional novel in the works! A collective album of narwhal-hat images to be slowly released after six years of compiling, and... <3 lotsa love (say hi to my puppy from Kiev, Vlod!)
