Saw a similar post once ages ago, so bringing the idea back around:
Nevermind those things about a character smelling like "amber honey and saddle leather" when they're not a beekeeper nor have they been near a horse or stable in their life-
What does your OC or Fandom Blorbo actually usually smell like? This will most likely be based on what they spend time around, how (or IF!) their clothes are cleaned, what they put on their body, and what their occupation is.
as much as i do want chapter 5, i don't really feel impatient for it. there's beauty in these wondering interstices & we are here to witness it ♥️ it's a gift to know something like this while it's still running
i like to imagine that of course he wears other clothing sometimes because Who Doesn't but it has to be highly specific, & that he also has 55 copies of the same uniform "lest haply I shouldst Loseth It" & he never bothers to explain what this means
beautiful singing but it's all embarrassing opera in languages he doesn't know so he wrecks the pronunciations. he puts his entire ass into it though
polyphonic voice so he can provide his own accompaniment but its primary use is for particularly long tongue twister words so if he starts mangling his affectation a second & maybe third voice can kick in & it sounds like a wibbly echo. i remembered "whomsoevereth" in one of the fan songs & a) that's funny & b) it made me wonder how long some of those permutations could become with enough unwieldy suffixes
kind of want to redraw & fix this one digitally... his face seems so skewed to me... having one eye that's so badly damaged has had such an effect on my perception of symmetry!! i don't mirror faces on principle, but this is really off, hmm. adding that to the list!! might be fun to color, too.
sometimes i get extremely in my feelings about he & Lancer turning to stone in the snowgrave route & feel the clawing desperate need to write/illustrate an extensive angst-choked rescue narrative for them & Tenna. i will deus all up in your machina. i will pull them in a little cart
first digital drawing i've done since like 2010... practice thing in extreme rough WIP stages... you know those shoujo manga pages with the flowers... yes... defying physics is his job... tablet access provided by my belōved wife @spookysnooty

i think it would be fun to put him in different outfits for visiting the other worlds. ye olde TRON suit. Rod Serling type all in b&w. 100% of his rizz (with regard to anyone normal that is. not me. not you if you're here. we love a guy that Sucks) is in visual presentation. he would not be the first dude to wreck his entire aura by opening his mouth, though. that's like a well populated genre of man
i'm not against the idea of him with (more of) a nose, i love it but i could never settle on a singular depiction... i think that's why i circled around to kind of a. triangular convergence that's more visible in profile than from the front (those three pixels are very important to me) & wife came up with the idea that he glows from within & it makes Structures visible which i think is brilliant... man shaped jello mold... skeleton in aspic...
i like to think of sculpting his snoot into a different nose every day & he just goes about his business as usual. he's weird anyway so no one questions it. sure whatever he has a nose collection. not the strangest thing about him
