feeling very !!! i have so much love for the people in my life !!! i could cry !!! there is simply not enough time and ways to tell everyone how much they actually mean to me. we are all just people at the end of the day living life for the first time and that’s beautiful. communication makes the world go round. prioritise people who prioritise you. if you think something nice about someone, tell them. life’s too short. people are just thoughts and feelings and they can’t read ur mind. tell them. tell them u love them !!!!! that’s life baby. value your time and energy. love people who value your time and make you energised. life’s too short !!!!!!!!!!! buy that ticket. go to that concert. you never know who you’ll meet. take chances, don’t let anyone take your love for granted. tell people u care about them. I’ve learnt that people come and go and people do bad things and don’t apologise for them but that doesn’t mean that you should shut yourself off to new connections. so if u needed to hear that here i am telling u. u will love again. u will meet people who make u feel so happy. post your rambles online. wear that nice outfit. try new things. create habits. u will eat nice food again. u will see a hundred more sunsets. things will be ok. i promise.

at the end of the day it’s you. it’s you who has to make sure that you’re okay. it’s you who has to hold yourself. it’s you who has to decided to keep going. sure making some tea will make you feel okay but you really do have to make sure you’re okay. you have to keep holding on and keep trying, it’s hard out here, I know that. it’s you and you can do it. you can do whatever you want to do because you are strong and you’ve made it so far

I get why people may not like Solar Power. It’s such a departure for Lorde. But the lyric “Now the cherry black lipstick’s gathering dust in a drawer/I don’t need her anymore” in Oceanic Feeling really rings true for me, and it feels like what this album is really trying to convey. Time goes on, and we change, and that’s okay. The tools you once used to get by may become obsolete, and that doesn’t erase their old purpose. We are mutable. That’s a good thing. Don’t be afraid of that.
