obviously as an individual 049 is very rigid in his ways, but i think a lot of people misattribute this to a general aversion to change rather than just a personality quirk. he is not interested in changing at all and you will absolutely never get him to do that, but the world around him is changing all the time and he is 100% chill with this fact to a degree where it’s honestly kind of comical
this is very apparent even in his initial intake interview, where he just. immediately accepts that he lives here now. zero hesitation. they just grabbed this man off the fucking street (which he notably did not even resist LMAO), and within less than three and a half minutes of talking to him - during which they don’t even get around to introducing themselves - he pulls a “WHERE MY BEDROOM !!! :D”
like he is SO go-with-the-flow it’s so funny to me & nobody ever acknowledges this. you could start doing literally anything in his vicinity & he wouldn’t even question it he’d just be like “oh okay i guess we’re doing this now.” maybe he’d even do it back. he’s just vibing man
