even if james himself says metallica is a space for all, you cannot ignore the messages in their songs. music is political even if you try to ignore it and especially in an attempt to restrict people from doing so (cough met subreddit cough) anyways here's james coming up with "hero of the day" jotting down ideas like "america: the worlds police". also soldiers "coming home to hate" in regards to the vietnam war

Kirk's glow in the dark Ouija guitar is up for auction via Julien's Auctions

A 1993 ESP Kirk Hammett Ouija electric guitar made by the ESP Custom Shop for Kirk Hammett of Metallica...immediately going into heavy rotation for Metallica’s 1993 "No Where Left To Roam" touring cycle. The guitar is signed by Kirk on the back and dated 2019 where he declares it “The very first Ouija guitar - 0001!” Handwritten in gold he goes on “This was one of my main touring + recording guitars throughout the ‘90s” and also lists the guitars studio recording bona fides which includes Metallica’s Load Re-Load Garage Inc The Black Album and Death Magnetic.

maybe i just simply don't get it but because i'm not a fan of these people but i really do not see the appeal for musician biopics especially those played by a-list actors. sorry this is about timothee chalamet and jeremy allen white (whose work i do enjoy!) like yea i don't know much about either musician they depicted but why would you want a movie about someone who is still alive and it's just a dramatic retelling of their journey...i don't get it ! and not forgetting elvis portrayed by austin butler like that guy was a total weirdo ?? there's a whole movie endorsed by the girl he groomed into marriage ABOUT the grooming...!? but i digress...cannot imagine a biopic for metallica or any other 70s-80s band. i'm surprised there hasn't been one for black sabbath. actually i really don't want one for metallica...please don't get any ideas @ met team
